News of another Quartermaine returning to the fold: Brook Lynn Ashton, Ned and Lois' daughter, and therefore the granddaughter of Tracy Quartermaine.

Adrianne Leon is returning to General Hospital  as Brook Lynn, probably around May sweeps, on recurring status.

Leon, who turned 23 on March 15 of this year, General Hospital left in 2006 after a year and a half on the show.  Her character returned to New York with her mother, Lois, in order to pursue her music career.   The actress joined the cast of  Young and the Restless in 2006 and left in 2007 amid some controversy, as stories circulated that she was let go because of weight gain.

This writer has seen Ms. Leon in person.  I don't know about the standards on Young and the Restless, but I can verify that she is absolutely stunning - tall, slender, and with absolutely hypnotic eyes.  The camera doesn't come close to doing her justice.

It's wonderful that this talented actress/singer will be returning to Port Charles.

Is Kimberly McCullough Leaving 'GH'?

Wednesday March 17, 2010
Fri Jan 2 01:04:04 2009

Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio) has always been interested in filmmaking and directing. So she's extremely excited about being accepted into the American Film Institute's Directing Workshop for Women this year.

However, the minute McCullough tweeted this, fans started panicking and spreading the rumor that the actress, who started on General Hospital as a child in 1985, was leaving the show. She did leave in 1997, initially to attend New York University.

McCullough, however, responded that she's not going anywhere and plans on doing both the show and the workshop.

This is a great opportunity for her. Congratulations, Kimberly!

Some Rhetorical Questions

Monday March 15, 2010

To start the week, just a few questions, to which there are probably no answers:

Why would anybody beat up the daughter of a mob kingpin?

Whatever happened to Toussaint (Billy Dee Williams) Also, his daughter was supposed to be admitted to GH. I guess that's not happening?

Whatever happened to the birth certificate with the 1965 birthdate that Helena retrieved from the back of the painting?

When is Valentin, the most evil of all the Cassadines, going to show up? (Well, that may be during sweeps - the poor guy who's been waiting to play him has my sympathy. I hope they let him take other jobs.)

Since Nikolas had the paternity test done by a private lab, is he going to be truthful about it? (I'm guessing no if it doesn't go his way.)

Just asking.

Will Scott Clifton Return as Dillon Q?

Wednesday March 10, 2010

dillon

Now that Scott Clifton has been released from his One Life to Live contract, the obvious question is: With the expansion of the Quartermaine family that's in process, will the actor return as Tracy's son, Dillon?

Movie-lover, fledgling filmmaker Dillon was a large part of General Hospital from 2003-2007, involved at various times with both Georgie and Lulu, running errands for Alcazar, and helping to prove that Laura didn't kill her stepfather. He left town to follow his dreams.

It would be great if those dreams led him somehow back to Port Charles.
