I saw this coming from the moment Nadine walked into General Hospital. I knew she wasn't coming into GH merely as a hospital staff filler. I knew she wasn't going to be Spinelli's angel. I knew she wasn't there to clear her sister's name…no, her true destiny was and always has been to help Nikolas recover from his illness, from his loss of Emily. Nadine and Nikolas are meant to be. It's almost mystical isn't it? Like God took one angel from Nikolas and sent him another. I feel all warm and tingly inside, don't you? Okay, all kidding aside, I really do like where this Nadine and Nikolas union is heading.

I completely agree qith you! Nadine is the perfect person to be in Nik’s life right now. She is loving, warm, caring, and understanding - just like Emily was. I can see Nik and Nadine having a wonderful life together. She would be the perfect person to brighten up his dreary life and home right now. Thank you for writing about this (potentially) wonderful couple!
I think that Nik should be with a guy. Why does General Hospital stray away from gay storylines? Nik has had bad luck with women. All of his women have died including, Katherine, Courtney and Emily. Give Nik a man!

NIk does not need a man….. the writers just need to leave his women alone. He should have never been with Katherine or Courtney…..But I like Nadine…she is a refreshing new character….let’s hope the writers continue to write her part in a postivie way….
I love Nik. I like Nadine. I just don’t think that she is mature enough for Nicolas. He needs a stronger, more mature, sexy woman. He seems much older than Nadine. I could see Nadine with Leo or maybe Johnny Z.
I am loving Nik and Nadine! She’s sweet, quirky, and tough! She makes Nik think and smile! And unlike with Emily, I don’t FF their scenes.
Nik does need a man. He seems pretty gay to me. So does Jax, Patrick and Dr. Devlin. Pair these guys up! Give us Gay General Hospital. And what about the black girl? Give her a man too!
You girls who watch these shows need to get real! Mostly all of these actors are closeted gay guys anyway! They don’t even like women. They have you all fooled.

Every show on TV does not have to have a gay storyline. I am a dedicated GH fan and there will always be storylines that I don’t care for: like killing off the loves of Nicholas, however, the answer is not to make him gay. And as far as the actors being gay….that is absurd and no one really care if they were.
You seem to be homophobic. These actors are so obviously gay, you must be one of those starry eyed women who think that men can not have sex with other men. Or that every man wants to be with a woman. Thank God that I am not that sort of woman (and I am straight) who is blind to men.
General Hospital needs a gay storyline, and I think one of the lead men should play the part instead of some extra. I have been a fan for nearly 30 years my dear! Remeber, Queer As Folk was very popular with us women!
I’ll bet you think that the black girls on the show should not be with the white guys too! They also need a storyline. General Hospital is too racial when it comes to storylines. Maybe Nik should be with one of the “real” black girls instead of a Hispanic girl pretending to be black like they did in the past!
faye, dear, I am more than a little familiar with this lifestyle, & it sounds like u’ve been bit by a couple of D.L. brothas, & 4 that I’m sorry. With a 99% accuracy on my gaydar, there are only 2 poss gay guys, & 1 lessie, babe. the rest r guys. Nik just wouldnt make sense 4 his character 2 wake up gay at this point.
I am far from being homophobic..trust me. However, it annoys me when people think that every show must incorporate some controversial topic into the story line just to appease society. GH has covered many of these touchy storylines over the years. The rape of Laura and Elizabeth, LuLu’s pregnancy, Robin’s HIV status and now being pregnant. I for one don’t think a gay story line is needed with the direction of the show. But this is only one dedicated fan’s opinion…
I love your honesty and you’ve made your point. But, trust me the guys on these soaps are gay as hell! And by the way, all of my boyfriends have been white!
And for the record, I think that Rick and that new chick are the new supercouple! I like to see his character happy at last. But, knowing the writers they will kill his happiness just to make Sonny (whom I hate with a passion) look good.

um,no.come on, she’s a replica of emily. we don’t need another emily. that would just ruin the memory of her and them as a couple. i don’t even want to see nikolas witha nother person right now. em and nick were like the second biggest powrcouple on gh. they should at least give the fans and nikolas time to move on and be ok with it before they pair him up with someone else…it’s just not right.
I’ve watched GH since day one, they don’t need a Gay storyline.It wouldn’t fit in right now. I don’t care for Nadine with Nik either.I agree he needs someone a little older or give all his attention to his son for now instead of a woman. Faye I agree with you wholeheartly.I HATE SONNY. I’m with you girl! Nadine has comman sense and strength. She will be good for Nic and Spencer and won’t be afraid to stand up to Helena. Manners aside she knows a snake in the grass when she sees one.
Nic needs lots of time to heal and time with Spencer. No love interest for long time but needs a friend and protector because it won’t take Helena long to show up and turn Spenc into a pawn. Nadine seems to have adopted Nic w/o wanting anything in return it seems to be what they both need.
I too am getting tired of the troubled bad man with a real heart. I actually thought Monica said it all when she threw Jason and Sonny out of the house after Em’s death. They are not business men, nor are they men who operate in the shadows who take care of problems that the PCPD doesn’t even know exist. They deal in pain, drugs and death. I do not understand why Jason is always the hero and Lucky the idiot. Why Carly has a wonderful husband at home who loves her and her boys and wants to give her the world but she can’t stay away from Sonny and Jason. They come first.
I bet that the picture in Nadine’s locket will look a lot like Nicholas. Soul mates ;-D
What is really up with Ian aka the secret guy Jerry has been meeting with? Is he good like when we see him in the hospital or BAD when we hear him talking to Jerry??

The new criminal is the new doc. Boy that was difficult! Like Nadine with Nicholas but they could be friends, till they know each other better. Can’t wait to see what Jason does since his hands were hurt. Maybe everyone in town can find someone to abuse instead of Jason.
I like Nicholas and Nadine together too! They fit! Nadine has obviously, lost someone too, like Nicholas lost Emily, from all the little clues of things she says and understands about him seeing Emily still. They will work out great as a couple. Sonny is sooooo sexy! I love him with Kate! Carly needs to stay at home with Jax! He is not chopped liver, and she is lucky to have him at all, especially after the way she has treated him. Ian has taken an interest in Sam now, ho-hum! Both are boring! Lucky needs a new woman. Spinelli and Maxie are real cute together, and I think they will be good for each other. I know they want Claudia to be a triangle with Sonny and Kate, but Claudia needs a man of her own, maybe Jason or Lucky… Johnny, now there’s a dreamboat! He looks a lot like Sonny, enough to be his son…
Please, please make sure Nikolas and his ghost are written our of General Hospital.
I actually like Nadine, pair her up with Lucky, he needs someone who is not a slut! I hated Emily, I hate Nicolas, I hate Sonny, I hate Jason (please make him the good Doctor Jason again!), I hate Carly, I hate Jax, I hate Kate (or Connie Stupidnaro, her and Sonny are so boring together) and most of all I hate Sam. Please kill all of these characters off the show. Bring back Brenda, Felicia, Simone Hardy, Tom Hardy, Justus, Alan and A.J.! This show is no longer General Hospital, it is now “Mobster Wars.” Get rid of the gangster storylines, or you will lose fans who remember when the show was about the hospital and the people who worked in it!
My opinion is that they should not get rid of Emily!!!. She is such a good actress. Why can’t it be just a dream for Nickolas and that Emily will still be alive at the end of his illness. It happened on dallas so why not here????

I did not mean to offend anyone. I’m sorry if I did. I have nothing against gay people. I just thought that we could express our opinions. I think that the show just needs improvement.
I love Nadine’s character, and I think she is perfect for Nickolas. She is a healer in more ways than just being a nurse. I think she ’s just the medicine Nikolas needs to get over Emily.

I’m tired of the mob. Also, the dark sets where it’s hard to see what’s going on. I admit to doing a lot of fast-forwarding throughout the mob scenes, but I am definitely of the opinion that Dr. Ian is the one who shot Michael in the head (though aiming at Sonny.) Am I wrong?
No gay scenes, on GH. please. I turn in to be entertained, not reminded of the REAL world and it’s problems.
