Rumor, Rumor on (or off?) the Wall

Remember, these are only rumors concerning General Hospital couples and, if they are true, are still subject to change without notice:
- There will be possible story arc changes regarding the mob stories if the ratings do not improve.
- There is a lot of enthusiasm for Patrick and Robin, especially with the great response to General Hospital: Night Shift.
- Jason and Elizabeth, as has been discussed, is not moving forward. Not much was planned to happen until November. Due to complaints from fans, this may change and their story arc may be accelerated.
- Fans have been complaining about the way females are treated on the show, and we perhaps can look forward to some changes there.
- The Jerry-Alexis affair is going to continue.
- Lucky and Sam are staying together; they are popular with the fans.
- Nothing has been decided regarding Spinelli, Maxie and Matt. Look for several different scenarios to be tried.
- Sonny and Kate will continue.
- Nikolas, Nadine and Claudia are iffy. Expect it to go either way for a time, depending on several elements. Claudia will probably win Nikolas first.
- It was hoped that Johnny and Lulu would bring in the younger viewers over the summer, but their story arc failed to attract viewers. TPTB are hoping the interest picks up with the return of Laura.
From a few days ago: Rumor has it that a certain actor on the very successful Night Shift may be coming to General Hospital. When approached, the actor was agreeable.
Hint: It's another legacy character, and he looks great in both boxers and briefs. Remember, it's only a rumor.

I’m very happy to hear GH might be addressing the way women are treated on this show (especially since much of their audience is women). The latest was Karpov offering Carly a warehouse full of furs and jewelry and cars in exchange for her “gratitude as a woman.” At least invest in a better toupee if you’re going to make an offer like that!

I wish Lusam would move on..If they are not going to do Jasam..which was my favorite ..But behind door politics have stalled that ideal…I would love to see Sam and Lucky adopt a baby or ..Maybe do a show on race .Meaning that Lucky and Sam will adopt a child outside there race that makes maybe one of their family memebers uncomfortable….That will be a great story line to explore..Far as giving the Robin a character a baby I think it was a dud…I see Robin as a boring character regardless of the length of time KMCT has played the character…Kelly Moncao character should have been the one who got pregnant…I believe that the writers givein to the Scrub fans too much…I ‘m not going to bash .Thought the character has been living with the HIV…theh writers brung nothing to the character unless they are waiting for the birth of the child…..I also would love for Alexis to be aover protective grandmother if Sam has a child or adopts child..NLG would pul it off so good….If they decide to keep Alexis as her mother…Theres been no interaction between the 2….Greg and Kelly have incredible sexy looks..I hope they give them better material to work with….
A better named for Lucky and Sam would be Sucky. And for Johnny and Lulu - Zulu.
Mob stories are killing this show. They dropped secret agents years ago; time to drop the Mob!
I so agree with the whole Mob storyline, it is so time to drop and move on. There are some other shows that don’t have mob stories and are doing awesome. If they would drop the Mob and quit making everything revolve around Lulu, maybe their ratings would increase. I am so tired of the character Lulu taking up most of my show. There are other characters that we would like to invest our time in. Jason and Elizabeth, Sam and Lucky, I love them together, it would be great for them to adopt a child or somehow Sam could get pregnant, technology is amazing.
ROBERT SCORPIO DAMN IT
The Alexis and Jerry relationship will continue, will it? As far as I’m concerned it hasn’t even got started. This is a relationship that for some reason we do not see, we only hear from somebody else that this or that happened. It was Carly who told us months ago that Alexis had a crush on Jerry. We had not seen anything to suggest it. We have seen a few kisses that lasted the length of the whole scene which means about five seconds. Recently someone said that the two had slept together. I didn’t see anything to suggest that Jerry had managed ot get inside Alexis’ door, let along her — well. I would very much like to enjoy scenes played before my eyes by these two actors, who do very well when they are allowed, but I don’t see a love story. I don’t see ‘getting to know each other.’ Alexis still insults him every time she sees him then falls into his arms. and the scene ends. I’m not thrilled by Sonny’s old highschool romance, although I like Kate. Just don’t like him. I’d be deliriously happy if Alexis and Jerry had a tete a tete and really told each other about themselves. It could take, oh, five or ten minutes, the same amount of time that is spent on us to watch Sonny stare at people.
I don’t like Jason and Elizabeth together. She is not good for him. He needs someone more exciting to be with.
I am hoping they go on with Jason and Elizabeth. They are so good together. I think she would be good for him if the MOB stories are starting to fail. He deserves to raise his child and for once be HAPPY!!
As for Sonny and Kate..BORING. When they come on, I either leave the room or if it’s on DVR..I fast forward.
My comment is about Robin.. to me, she’s whiney, and boring. i feel as if the show revolves around her & her boring parents. i wish her, Patrick, & her parents would leave the show..even on the night shift, it seems the story revolves again on Boring Robin. Yawn..i’m Not a Robin Fan, nor a Scorpio fan. i’ve been watching this show 40 something yrs, and they could do without the Scorpios…
I am tired of mob stories. It just goes on and on. I think Sonny and Kate are the most boring. We need a new story line and get away from the mob !!!! They talk about killing people on this show like it is an every day thing.
I have watched GH for about 30 years and I have never seen it as bad as it has been the last couple of years, but especially now. How does it manage to win best daytime drama when it has been the worst of the 3 ABC soaps for a few years now? It is usually great and exciting for sweeps, and as soon as they are over it goes downhill again. Why can’t they keep that momentum? ENOUGH OF THE MOB! BORING, BORING BORING! I feel like the violence and mob is being crammed down my throat until I want to gag! Instead of backing down the whole mob scene, they bring in more mobsters. Whoever is making these decisions is an idiot! Fast forward thru all Lulu & Johnny..so boring and I could care less that Laura is coming back..yawn. Love Robert, Anna & Noah and a lot of potential there but they write Robin & Patrick boring…and enough whining from Robin already! Like Jason & Liz, like Lucky & Sam, love Nicholas and Nadine (NOT Claudia & Nicholas..)but they aren’t moving the stories along! Spinelli is a gem, and though I’m not a Maxie fan, beginning to like them as a couple too. Stop the violence and get back to relationship stories! Stop dragging out storylines so long that no one cares anymore because the audience loses interest! Stop writing the peaking point of a storyline so poorly that there is a resounding thud and the audience ends up feeling cheated! If TPTB can’t recognize this, then maybe a shake up is needed within themselves! As a loyal GH fan for 30 years, I now don’t care if I watch it that day or not, and have considered stopping all together. If that’s the fan reaction they were going for, then TPTB are doing a bang up job!
I have been watching GH since it began….yes, I’m that OLD….GH is the ONLY Soap I watch religiously, the ONLY Soap I’ve EVER watched religiously, and even though, over the years, there have been storylines that I didn’t care for, I stuck them out and eventually they DID get better, but like a lot of GH fans now days, I too, am SICK and TIRED of the MOB storyline. There’s ENOUGH violence in the world today without us having it crammed down our throats on our Favorite Soap. If this is the ONLY way that GH can keep Jason and Sonny occupied, then as much as I LOVE them both, it’s time to let them go and END this storyline FOREVER! I’m beginning to wonder if the powers that be at GH even CARE how their fans feel, we’ve been begging for this change for years, but instead of ending it, we get MORE mobsters! NOT GOOD!!! LISTEN TO US, GH, WE’RE FED UP WITH IT!!! I now tape my Soaps on DVR, when it comes to the mob storyline, LuLu, Johnny, Claudia, or ANYONE, that has ANYTHING to do with the mob storyline, I fast forward to something I like, I couldn’t even tell you what these storylines are about because I REFUSE to watch them! Come on GH, LISTEN to your Fans!!! Enough already!!!! I love Maxie and Spinelli, they are SO cute together, I love how they’ve turned Maxie around, made her someone I look forward to watching again. I love Robin, always have, but like some of the other fans, I could do without the whining, glad they FINALLY let her and Patrick get on the same page with this baby thing. UGH! I love ALL the Quartermaines, even the dead ones, hello, Alan!! I love the pairing of Lucky and Sam, look forward to them everyday. I love Leyla now that she’s no longer chasing after Patrick, I think Nadine is a hoot, I would love to see her and Nikolas together, Nikolas needs some “fun” in his life, Nadine could give him that, never a dull moment with her around. I WOULD NOT like to see Nikolas with Claudia. I love Sarah Brown, although it’s taken me a while to accept her in the roll of Claudia, I now have, but in my opinion she just doesn’t seem to “click” with anyone on the Soap, at least not so far. I love Laura Wright as Carly, also took me awhile to accept her as Carly, but now that I have I think she’s doing a FANTASTIC job, naturally sometimes she gets on my nerves, big time, but she makes Carly interesting. There’s not one character on GH that I “don’t” like, although there are a few that I could live without, namely LuLu, and ONLY because GH feels the need to cram her down our throats. She may be Luke and Laura’s daughter, but she IS NOT Laura, NEVER will be, so stop trying to make us think she’s SPECIAL because she IS their daughter, as far as I’m concerned, she’s just ANOTHER character, NOTHING special! I can live with every storyline that GH dishes out, except for the Mob storyline, and this fixation they seem to have with LuLu. And that is just this fan’s opinion!!!! For what it’s worth!
Question: Why is the sexiest guy on the show…the sweetest guy on the show…Jason, not allowed to have a love life? I get the whole safety story…but it’s such a waste of a great character! I love Liz & Jason and wish they could have a story.
More loe, less mob. Soaps are to escape the harsh reality of life, not bring it onto the screen! I’ve watched GH for over 25 years and right now I only tune in for Robin & Patrick and for Jax–the only good guy left. Let’s have more of them every day. If the mob was only given the screen time that Jax has, maybe I could stomache it.
Well I guess I am one of the few, I love the mob story line, I think it fits Sonny and when he wasnt in the mob he was so boring to me. Jason is wonderful too I just wish Sonny was in charge again but I will take them both as long as there is a mob story line. Jason and Elizabeth, they should have never put them together, They have made Robin whiney lately shes not in true character form, I miss Emily so much. Lulu and Johnny enough already I have stopped watching because of them. I am glad they stopped stuffing Carly down my throat with all the men. Kate and Sonny perfect together. He is happy she is happy keep them together. Carly needs her butt kicked though by Kate just one good punch is all..I am really sick of Carlys character getting away with telling everybody off and thinking shes so high and mighty. I am glad Jax left her serves her right.

Why is Carly always up in Jason’s business. I know they are “best friends” but I thought she was focusing more on being a mother to Morgan and a wife to Jax. I would love for her to get over her MOB connection since she
had Sonny sign over his rights to the boys. I think the writers should have her move on with her life in a different direction and hopefully start a family with Jax. Jax has been married too many times unsuccessfully and it’s time for him to have a happy life. As for Kate and Sonny, they are trying too hard to push them on the fans as well as Lulu and Johnny. She should have been with Logan. Killing Logan off was a big mistake. As for Scott, he is over the top now. I use to like him but now he is just a bully. Monica needs a storyline now that she is out of rehab. Make her the new Chief of Staff. And when in the head nurse going to find out who killed her son? Jason was suppose to be looking into that for her. And bring back that tall, handsome doctor that was on the first season of Night Shift and was on GH for a “too short” of time. I love GH but I am so tired of storylines not being completed and the MOB.
I persoally think that SBR should take RH with him when he leaves…..They 2006 massacre have left the show a former shadow of itself..Meaning the breakup of couples whocan act together and had great chemistry destroyed fanbases as well as the ratings…But I think the writers don’t care about ratings…they care about pop-culture and buzz couples….Some people say that Jasam was given only between 2.5 in the ratings…GH is lucky when gets a 2.2…This show is like a US magazine or a People magazine thing now meaning…The writers don’t write anymore it’s about who got clout and who looks better with whom!!!!!!!Anytime SOD magazine got a section called What Hot Warm and Cold…That’s what really dictates the writing..Also if they think that a Geekesaue charature and a knock of Nicole Ritchie or look a like is going to save the ratings, then GH is in trouble…It’s Beauty meets the Geek and people don’t care..I’m talking about Spinelli and Maxie….The current Buzz couple because of looks and youth…I blame SB for the ratings slump meaning the man with all the clout….If yougo back to 2006 and all the changes..Now fast foward to 2008 ..they have aleast 20 more couple possibilites to root for..all the make the writing og 2006 forgetable….Certain fanbases have stop voting..Some fanbase have merged Jasam and Lusam…they can’t even get over 55% by themselves….Some people like myself have never forgiven the writers for the 2006 destruction year…and the year that followed ..just to make a couple….They wanted a certain couple to breakup so bad they destroyed the viewership…Actors going on Fanevents dissing there co-stars..Fans reporting and taking up for the actors…Now we have put together paste together couples to clean up the mess…CHNAGING CHARACTERS FOR POINT PLOT PURPOSES ONLY…… I PERSONALLY HOPE THAT SOME TOP ACTORS AND ACTRESSES LEAVE…..
And if Lusam (Greg and Kelly) could just get some decent storylines that would appreciated…I want my favorite character Sam Mcall Spencer happy and healthy…And why in the spoilers is Liz pimping Lusam…Why is she in the storyline…..It doesn’t makes sense…I wish the writers would have Lucky and Sam go Sam’s vacation house in Hawaii and they do all the things the Borg wouldn’t do becuase he was sick….in 2005..If I can’t have Jasam please leave Lusam alone..And give them some remote shots….Monaco and Vaughan reminds me of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren..I din’t say look a like but reminds me of them..And let them have a miracle baby….Samira or Lake……
I agree about the Mob storylines. Sonny should be the Godfather. Jason has so much potential that is being passed over that it’s a crime. The writers have been doing the same story lines over and over for the entire time that GH has been on. I’m sick of Laura. Rebecca Herbst got robbed last year for the emmys. They brought Genie back for a short time for sweeps and she got the emmy instead of Rebecca. GH robbed Rebecca! They are not loyal to their every day actors.
Can’t the writers do a script without going back 30 years ago. It’s same ol, same ol. BORING….get new writers.

i really love jason and elizabeth together i wish that they could be although i fully understand they cant because of the life he chose but he could also choose to get out of that life and be with the woman that he loves. lifes full of choices good and bad but you have to make em. lulu and johnny are awesome together. maxie needs to get a life and stop being jealous of lulu. i think she should stop treating spinelli like she does and give the poor love sick boy a chance. im finally glad robin sees that patrick was trying to make a change
im glad that robin finally sees that patrick is trying to change so he can be the father that their little girl needs him to be. she was treating him so bad and acting like she knew how he felt and she was wrong. i felt like jumping through my tv and kicking her pregnant butt. lol i wouldnt have really done anything like that but i felt like it. and i hope i dont offend anyone by saying this but carly needs to stop she is being completely STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jax loves her and would never do anything to put their marriage at risk but leave it to carly as wreckless as she is to do it for the both of them. sonny needs to go ahead and be completely honest with kate and tell her the truth before they get married and she finds out. that way carly wont have any ammo to try and destroy kate and sonny. ok ive said all i need to say and i hope i didnt offend anyone with anything that ive said.
Mob element cannot be the only thing driving GH. I love the comedy when we can get it. I enjoy most of the couples on GH but want romance and comedy with fun plots lasting more than five minutes. We can take all the love and fun you can give us, you can only be sad and cry just so much!
Karporf was supremely slimey! He made you want to back Carly up every time he leaned leering at her. But can she shoot herself in the foot for the millionth time? Come on!
They are messing up Robin but good. Patrick stood on his head and was so romanctic and I knew she would say “NO”! No mystery there.
More of the senior actors please! Scorpio your still hot, Anna more of you, and why have they ruined Mac almost. Writers please get it together!
I agree that the mob storylines are killing the show. I have been watching for about 20 years now, and I am tired of watching Sonny and Jason get into relationships, when you know how the are ALL going to end. Same story every time, they leave the woman, because they want to protect her. BORING! Get them out of the mob so they can do something interesting and new. If I were the actors, Id be upset. Robin and Patrick is fun if they move forward. Enough of the Robin whining about not being a good mom. Same with Jax and Carly, Im tired of the same conversations over and over, DO something with them. Johnny and Lulu are getting boring for the same reason, and because Johnny’s storyline keeps running into the boring old mob storyline. Give people something new, or the show will keep dying.
