A Magic Genie Returns to 'General Hospital'

It was a welcome sight to General Hospital viewers when Laura Spencer emerged from her catatonic state to comfort her emotionally-ravaged daughter, Lulu.
We are looking forward to Francis' scenes, which either take place for real or in Lulu's mind. However it turns out, Genie Francis is always a welcome addition to General Hospital. In a recent interview, Francis, whose new haircut and recent weight loss enhance her beauty, states that she and her husband, actor Jonathan Frakes, are moving back to Los Angeles and pursuing their love of acting again. Here's hoping the producers can find a way to keep Francis around a lot longer.

What a gift it is to have Genie Francis back on GH!!! This time we all hope the powers that be realize that we, the fans, want Genie to stay permanently. She has made no bones about the fact that she’d love the chance to come back full time. Please don’t let us down!
I am so happy Laura is back. I really hope it is for good. They could really give her a great storyline and I wish they would. Luke and Laura are the reason this show became such a hit. I don’t even like soaps, but I love this. I wish they would pay them more and turn it into a night time show.
I am so glad the GF is back on the show. I hope that she is back to stay and they give her good storylines. I also hope that Vanessa Marcil returns soon and stick around for a good while. I am so happy that Finola Hughes and Sarah Brown are back on the show but I do not like their storylines. All the crime going on in PC there is something they could work them into. I would like to see another adventure like the one they did on location in Puerto Rico back in the day. They had a lot of characters in that storyline it was one of the best storylines.
Oh my gosh, I watched Laura and Luke when I was a little girl, I think 10 or so and now I am 34. Please bring her back full time, she makes the show and come on you all she is one of the top 5 actors on there.

its such a wonderful way to have gh back to the old well we love you gf. and i watched it when it first started and gf and luke and all the 9yrd, gf you make the difference lets leave it this time and have you back for ever, have johnny and lulua get ok married and just like luke and lauras it was the best show and if writers mess this time they are loosing big time,its great and it so wonderful. we want laura to stay so now we all wonder whats happening now,gennie you make the show, and well us fans could really write a story line, now.so again welcome back gennie and we love it, it they take u away this time ill be finished, theres so much killing lets have a little happiness for longer then a week.love it now.
She looks absolutely fabulous and her acting is better than ever! Genie adds a whole new refreshing element to the show that was muchly needed.
I fast fowarded through most of it. It was the same scene different words the entire week. I can only watch LuLu bust out in tears so many times in one week. Boring
first, it is great to have Laura back. Genie is awesome. i too wish that she could come back on a more premanent basis. that would rock. i do agree however that they need to move the storyline along a bit.
please don’t keep rick he’s awful don’t see the point of laura’s return but if it helps lulu ok i love jason spinelli & maxie i left Days when did. odd seeing she & jason tog. again
I wish they would have the good sense to keep GF for a long term stay. The night time version is doing best because they are bringing more regulars from the good old days.
yes, just how many times can lulu burst into tears! I can sure use more scenes of sonny in the sheets! & whats wrong with rick?
