Nothing official, but it looks like the rumors were true that Megan Ward (Kate) was leaving General Hospital. Now we hear that there has been a new development, and Kate will be getting a story. We do know that she is involved in the upcoming hospital crisis.
If true, this will be wonderful news for Ward's many fans.

I like Cate at first but now, her story fizzled, she has no love interests, and she should just go. I hope her cousin does not have the same fate, she is a HOOT@

I absolutely agree with the posts. Kate should leave immediately, but I also like her cousin Olivia. She’s better than Carly .. which says a lot.
I like Kate. GH needs to let her focus on her career for now and have a lovelife later.

I love Kate and I hope she stays on the show. The writers need to wise up and give her the storyline she deserves. She is fantastic and not a Carly Clone like most of the other female characters on the show right now.

I like Olivia, but not at the expense of Megan/Kate. Kate pops. Lisa’s Olivia is good, but she does not sizzle. Kate/Megan does.
What’s up with this anyway? Bob Guza said that Megan and Rick hearst’s roles were both reduced due to budget cuts. But, I see they had no problem making Olivia larger than life and putting Lisa on contract status!:(!
