Greg Vaughan Tweets to Dispel Rumors

Greg Vaughan (Lucky Spencer) has twittered to his fans that he's still under contract with General Hospital.
He writes on the social network: "I have not been put on recurring status!!! But, it feels like it!"
He also invited his fans to let him know what they want to see from his character and the show.
"Please! Speak your mind! It's your privilege as dedicated fans, right? Let me hear your voice, and what you would like to see happen."

I love greg as an actor but it is too late for general hospital. They are too deep in mob stories. I watched other soaps and they are more diversed. This show only likes jason, sonny and claudia. It is very sad.
General hospital hates blacks, gays and good stories. They should take a hint from all my children and one life to live. Get rid of sonny, claudia and the mob. By the way sonny is not white, but he is always with white women!
I don’t see GH having issue’s with racial or sexual hangups. There stories are about the Mob. Who happen to be straight and white. I guess who can’t please everyone. Since I don’t see Lucky as being gay, that wouldn’t be a fitting story for him.
I say, since he is a Detective, let me work a storyline with substance to supposrt his career.
Or….what i would really like to see is Liz leaving the show, and a custody battle between him and Jason.

I don’t tweet, but if anyone here does, tell Greg we need his character to get more RESPECT. We need him, Uncle Max, the FBI people to bring down at least PART of Sonny’s operation successfully, and to have a few serious wins.
I am a white lady who agrees that general hospital is racist and focuses on an imaginary straight white world!
This writing is perhaps how they wish the world to be. Too bad daytime does not realize majority of viewers are black!

Debi i am a white guy that agrees with stacy. We as a race should embrace all cultures. General hospital is one sided. Any blind person can see that compared to other shows. White people should be outraged!
I love GH, I don’t think the majority of it’s readers are black. Why is everyone saying it’s racist at all. Why does every thing have to be about black and white. It’s a fringing soap opera.Get a life.

GH definitely needs more of a black presence. They shouldn’t have gotten rid of the Ward family. It was such a shame that Rosalind Cash died, but they could have kept Justus. If anyone remembers from the Luke and Laura days, they had that cute couple who were friends of Laura’s, and much later, the second actress to play Gia Campbell.
However, despite this, most of the GH fans on Twitter are black. They love the show.
Great catch! The first gia was a spanish girl who they tried to pass as black. They fired the second gia who was black and did not dare pair her with nicholas. Most black folks hate this show!
Hi Im a such a huge fan of gh. I dont Think racim or some1 being gay is prob. for them. Theres been good storys srounding Gh over the yrs. Lucas maxies cousin was Gay , Guess people forget storylines like that. and they oversee it. Laineys black. And I happen to enjoy those white woman with sonny. and dont see racim. They should bring a little more color to GH but Not to the accept of other gh charatars. And as for lucky Im very dissaponted of greg vaughns fireing he played lucky 2003-09. and thats shocking. I dont have much to complain about when it comes to lucky. BUt theres is just 1 thing Id like to see lucky become a partner with dante and they can bring sonny down and arrest him together. and 1 more thing hire Greg vaughn back as lucky.
