After today, Guiding Light will shine no more.

It's a sad day for fans, and a sad day for soaps.

To say that Guiding Light had a good run would be an understatement.

I am still so angry that GL was cancelled…I had
watched it for over 50 years and it was at it’s best
’til the end. Shame on CBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve watched Guilding Light more year than I would like to count. I will admit that they did a wonderful job tying up the loose ends but shame on CBS for cancelling a show that has been on 72 years. How often can a show say they’ve been on that long. If they did this to a show so great the other soap operas should be very afraid. I still watch your other soaps but I will not be watching Guilding Lights replacement. Good Luck to all the actors and people behind the scenes. Look forward to seeing you on some of the other soap operas real soon.

I watched the last episode as I had watched G.L off and on for years. I loved how they ended the story and will truly miss seeing the characters and the actors who portrayed them daily
