The New Adventures of Old Kristina

Jamie Ray Newman, ex-Kristina Cassadine on GH, debuts tonight as Kat Gardener on Eastwick, a new ABC series also starring Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, Sara Rue, Veronica Cartwright, and Paul Gross.

The striking Michigan native actually got her start on General Hospital, appearing as Alexis' sister Kristina from 2001 to 2003. Then, Kristina died in an explosion set by Luis Alcazar. With her died the secret that Alexis' unborn child was Sonny's.

Newman has been a busy lady ever since, not only with singing engagements, but in a recurring role on the series Veronica Mars and guest appearances on many prime-time shows, including Medium, Nip/Tuck, Crossing Jordan, and CSI.

Now she's a regular in a high-profile primetime series, which we hope is a success.
