Friday September 5, 2008
Latest rumor from the contract negotiations: Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing) is staying with General Hospital - but only through November sweeps. Word is that he is happy about the circumstances of Ric's exit.

The character of Ric is controversial to say the least, and some viewers will be happy to see the end of his duplicitous doings, if indeed this rumor is true. The actor Ric Hearst is another matter. Not only is he a wonderful actor, but anyone who has ever met the handsome and charming Hearst in person knows what a special person he is and how generous he is to his many fans. He will be missed.

Sasha and Jerry? Special Wedding Guest? Early Labor? More 'General Hospital' News

Tuesday September 2, 2008
Tue Sep 2 19:40:22 2008

Current General Hospital story news:

  • Lisa Locicero, formerly of One Life to Live, will play Olivia, Kate's cousin. As previously reported, Olivia will make an appearance at Sonny and Kate's wedding. It sounds like it's supposed to be a pleasant surprise for Kate...why do I think that it isn't going to be one?
  • Robin goes into early labor.
  • Alexis may have some competition for Jerry's affections - Sasha.
  • Jason gets another roommate while Spinelli needs care...Maximista.
  • Matt Hunter will probably turn out to be a Drake. His reasons for interest in the counterfeit drug trafficking have to do with losing a patient at one time because of bad drugs. Noah may have known of his existence. More points for Noah. Matt and Liz may become confidantes.
  • Morgan may be aged, as George Juarez, the current Morgan, is going into first grade and probably not staying with the show.
  • Scott claims during the trial that Logan was an undercover police officer, and has documents to prove it! This means Johnny is eligible for a lethal injection.
  • Reportedly Kate's wedding dress cost $47,000.
  • Do Anthony and Trevor frame Claudia for Logan's murder?

Let's Have an Old-Fashioned Wedding

Saturday August 30, 2008
Sun Aug 31 01:26:51 2008

Can it be true? Word has it that General Hospital: Night Shift cancer patient Robert Scorpio (played by Tristan Rogers) will be there to walk his daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough) down the aisle when she finally marries Patrick (Jason Thompson), possibly during November sweeps. This would certainly make the Scrubs wedding an affair to remember.

The character of Robert Scorpio is currently battling a brain tumor and colon cancer, but thanks to the care of his daughter and the staff of GH, he hopefully will be strong enough to hand his daughter over to Patrick. Tristan Rogers' many fans hope that will be the case.
