On Friday's 'GH,' Todd Manning Hears a Confession

On Friday's General Hospital, one of the characters makes a confession, and it was overheard by Todd Manning. It may change the game plan a bit, or Todd might just forget he heard it.

Despite what he says he feels about Kate, Sonny sends Alexis to her rescue.

Tea Delgado and Alexis meet. If these two end up facing off in a trial, watch out.

Jason Cook Out at 'General Hospital'

Jason Cook (Matt Hunter) is leaving General Hospital.

According to Soap Opera Digest, the actor has several projects in the works and was planning to take time off. "Time off" usually means a leave of absence, but in this case, the producers had other plans.

Cook is working on several things: obtaining funding for a film with Bradford Anderson, a project with Arianne Zucker from Days of Our Lives, and he is developing an cooking show featuring different restaurants.

We're glad that Cook had an opportunity for more presence on GH in the last months, and we wish him success with his new projects.

Tuesday's 'GH': Sonny Never Saw or Read 'Sybill'

Tuesday's General Hospital was full of showdowns:

Jason and McBain had a showdown about Sam.

Sam and Elizabeth had a showdown about Jason.

Michael had a showdown with Starr.

Sonny and Kate had a showdown about "Connie Falconeri," which Sonny didn't believe for a second. Of course, the way Kate tells it, it does come off as a little strange.

And there were a few lovely moments between Luke and Anna, and Elizabeth and Anna.

Michael has a special message for Johnny.

Starr and Sonny return to the scene of the crime - I guess they walked.

Lulu and Sam are at the mercy of Ronnie, finally showing his true colors, as Dante and McBain try to find them.

May Spoilers for 'General Hospital'

For those interested in spoilers, there are some May sweeps tidbits in the Hot Stuff section.

There remain some rumors, still listed there, that I'm now unsure are going to take place now that the show has been renewed.

There is one item from almost two years ago that I'm very disappointed never turned into a storyline. If you recall, Helena came back to town for a painting, and we finally discover that it's not the painting she wants, it's what is hidden in the frame:

The birth certificate Helena pulled from the painting has a 1965 birth date.

So whose was it? Why did she want it?

I wonder if we'll ever know.

'GH' Ratings Higher

General Hospital ratings crept up, at least for the week of April 23-27.

The show gained 127,000 viewers and gained one-tenth of a point in both households and in the 18-34 demographic.
