The fan club begins preparing as early as January and the event isn't until July. I personally consider this the biggest shin dig of the year besides Super Soap Weekend. 

During the entire weekend the various fan clubs put on their personal events to raise money for their fan clubs and charities. Since I am the fan club president for Réal Andrews (Taggert/GH) I have the opportunity to get up close every year with the fans. This year was my third year putting on such an event and one that I look forward to doing every year.
