Neither Lucy nor Kevin can believe they’ve been
reunited. They pinch each other and
squeal in pain as they prove their experience is real. Lucy begins rambling and Kevin starts to
explain how Rebecca pulled him through the portrait. Lucy explains how Ian channeled Kevin and how she started to
actually believe he was murdered. Kevin
scoffs at the idea that he would skip out on his marriage to Lucy after only
six months. Lucy has to explain Ali’s
aneurysm when Kevin wants to call the DA to clear Ali’s name. Kevin thinks that Lucy lit Rebecca’s candle
to bring him back but she denies such intervention. Kevin explains the magic powers he had on the other side. Lucy show him the sketch she found on the
deck and Kevin is amazed at how far his sketch traveled. Victor, Serena and Christina happen upon the
couple and are overjoyed at finding Kevin alive. Victor makes Kevin promise never to do whatever it was that made
him disappear. Lucy prevents Kevin from
immediately phoning Livvie. She thanks
Kevin for the star he gave her for her birthday. The gang shares a group hug.
Livvie wakes up alone and wonders where Rafe is. She revels in her victory over Alison in
winning Rafe’s love. The hotel desk
clerk comes to the door to get back the $20 she lent Rafe and Livvie is
distraught to learn that Rafe went to GH looking for her. She flies out the door to find him.
Ali speaks Rafe’s name and he is surprised that she knows
who he is. She asks him if she died and
went to heaven. Ali looks around and
realizes she’s in the hospital and that Rafe really is with her. She asks him
how long he can stay and he replies that he doesn’t even know why he’s
there. Ali soon realizes that Rafe
doesn’t know who she is. Jack, Jamal
and Ian rush into the room and thank Rafe for helping Ali wake up. Ian can’t explain Ali’s sudden recovery but
she is sure it is all due to Rafe’s return. Rafe recalls the fake Ali that
Livvie introduced him to. Jamal demands
to know why Rafe left Ali when she needed him the most. Rafe claims that he doesn’t remember any of
them, that he doesn’t recall the past few years of his life. Ali demands to know why Rafe is acting like
they’re strangers. Jamal and Jack ask Ian
to confirm that Rafe is really suffering from memory loss. Jamal finally believes that Ali and Rafe’s
love is as deep as Ali claimed.
Ali explains the details of their farewell meeting to
Rafe. Rafe asks why he left her so
abruptly, if it was for military duty.
Ali draws Rafe close so she can gaze upon him. She assures him that everything will be okay now that he’s
returned. Rafe turns away in pain and
whispers that he can’t proceed with his relationship with Ali because he’s
married. Ali recounts all the details
of their barn marriage. Livvie comes
through the door flashing her wedding ring.
Ali is speechless and aghast when Livvie announces that she’s the one
who married Rafe and insists that Ali take her hands off Livvie’s husband.
Ian continues to marvel at Ali’s recovery. He phones Lucy and drops his medical chart when Kevin answers the phone. Kevin thanks Ian for all his help in bringing him back to earth. Ian shares his good news about Ali and notes that this is a day of miracles. Ian looks upward and asks Eve if she thinks they’re out of the darkness now.
