Ian is outraged to learn of Caleb’s visit with Eve.  Eve is ecstatic that Ian is home and at the first opportunity, Ian has a stern word with Michael.  He tells him he knows about his lies and Michael replies that Ian is right on all counts.  Ian is disturbed when Michael reiterates how he would give his life for Eve and Ian advises him that it’s not his place to protect Eve.  Ian asks Michael to be out of his house that night.  Eve disapproves of Ian asking Michael to leave but Michael assures her it’s better for everyone involved.  He asks Eve to never remove the crest as it will serve to protect her. Eve kisses Michael on the cheek and he is flustered by the affectionate gesture.  Eve agrees with Ian that it’s best that Michael leave their home.  Ian takes the family crest from around Eve’s neck and tosses it aside, claiming he can protect his own wife.

Livvie feels Kevin is trying to control her but Kevin thinks he is just protecting her.  Lucy convinces Kevin to let Jack talk to Livvie in private.  Jack tells Livvie there are some important things she needs to know about him and Caleb.  Livvie doesn’t believe Jack when he tells her he must go after Caleb alone, although Jack points out that he can’t protect her and get rid of Caleb at the same time.  He makes her promise not to go outside the house while he’s gone.  He reveals the rule about not inviting vampires into the home and Livvie’s reaction is one of total disbelief in the existence of vampire.  She finds drinking human blood disgusting and sick and refuses to listen to Jack as he tries to tell her what has happened to him.  Livvie asks him to leave because she thinks he is ghastly and crazy. 

Gaby’s brother Emilio shares his frustration over his sister with Frank.  When Emilio approaches Gaby and insists on taking her home with him, she pushes him across the room into a cabinet and demands that he leave her alone.  Emilio tells her if she wants to walk away from her whole family, that’s fine, and comments that the girl from the biker bar was right, that Gaby is a slut.  Gaby grabs Emilio and sinks her teeth into his neck.  After she drains his body of blood, she calls for help and claims she just found her brother like that.

Kevin refuses to believe that vampires exist even though Lucy finds and shares a plethora of information from the Internet.  Lucy proposes that Jack must be a vampire like Caleb judging from his strength, his knowledge of vampire habits and activities and his fear of being alone with Livvie.  Lucy starts tying the incident Jack had in the woods with Caleb.  Kevin starts to believe Lucy’s theory and they call out for Livvie.  She is on a ledge and as Jack yells up to her, Chris shoots him with a tranquilizer gun to subdue him.  Caleb appears at Livvie’s side on the roof.
