DOUBLE TAKES
It's contrived to end a Friday episode with screeching tires and a shrieking woman; the only thing worse is to replay the same scene to open Monday's show and forget to include the woman's scream. Ali must have seen the headlights coming toward her over the weekend and decided her energy would be better spent getting the hell out of the way…For a dying woman with failing organs, Arianna sure seems awfully bright-eyed and plump lately…Basement clutter is commonplace and locked closets abound in most homes. But Rhonda's basement door was boarded up like there were chests of gold behind it rather than an old computer…Jamal's bike shop will quickly fail if all potential customers are treated like the guy on the way to the race who needed help and everyone promptly left him behind without even looking at his motorcycle.
MOUTHING OFF
Frank's frequent far out ravings are going to scare poor Rhonda into sobriety faster than any AA meeting…Every time the island chief speaks, he sounds like he's auditioning to be a guest on Oprah…Lucy chatters more than the average busybody and is largely ignored so it's a bit sad when she is occasionally 100% on the money and no one listens, most recently Ian. She's the only one who has stepped up and told him what a fool he is being over Arianna and how shabbily he is treating Eve…Amanda left the bike shop without so much as fare thee well to Jack or Livvie. So much for good breeding.
PARENTING CRASS
Eve's immaturity in handling her pregnancy should disqualify her from the honor of becoming a mother. Ian may be acting like an idiot but he's displayed his instability many times before and she's still been honest with him…Knowing Chris as well as she does, Eve even considering his offer of marriage is laughable. Her child would be much better off fatherless than to have Chris as a role model.
BACKTALK
The next time Ian craves some metaphysical input, he could check the local yellow pages before going to the trouble and expense of importing the island chief…Lucy can now die a happy woman since the chief confirmed that her psychic powers really do exist…With all the gossip that flies through Port Charles, crazy Rachel and kidnapped Christina never make the cut as a hot topic.
