Tuesday 8/29/2000...Nikolas inspects the tunnel where the freezer is and hears a sound as he is about to open it.  The intruder turns out to be Gia.  Nikolas scolds her for trespassing and risking her life but all Gia wants is to see the body to confirm its identity which she does.

Zander and Liz talk at Kelly’s and he asks her if she’ll be at the next rave.  He admits he drugged her water and Liz acts like it was no big deal.  He apologizes for the drugging and Lucky shows up to come to Liz’s defense when Zander starts getting personal.  Liz diffuses the situation, Zander leaves, and Liz tells Lucky he could have been a little more diplomatic.  Mac runs into Taggert at Kelly’s and asks him to intervene with Hannah because he suspects she is concealing information about Roy.  Nik and Gia start to enter Kelly’s and Gia turns away when she sees Taggert.  Nik kisses her.

Roy gets the fake ID for Luke from the safe and Luke calls to change their meeting place.  Roy warns him to be extra careful because Interpol is a top notch organization. Roy summons Lucky to Luke’s Place and gives him a message from Luke that he’s okay.  Lucky is belligerent and sarcastic and tells Roy that Luke is just a user and brings up that Roy took the fall for Luke’s rape of Laura.  Roy tells Lucky that Luke is just a man, to grow up and accept it.  Lucky says Luke doesn’t deserve Roy as a friend and to tell Luke that if he really killed Stefan, he better never come back to Port Charles.

Stefan confirms that Jax has taken the bait he planted and is following Brenda.  His partner in crime visits him and tells him everything is going as planned as Stefan is leaving saying it’s time for him to collect his reward.

Hannah stops by Roy’s and  finds a note from her father.  Mac comes to the door looking for Roy and Hannah tells him nothing.  Mac claims he’s there on “official business” and Hannah tells him to lay off Roy.  AJ walks in on them with a flask in his hand, apparently inebriated.  AJ rambles on about nothing in particular and Mac threatens to arrest him.  Mac tells Hannah to tell Roy he’s looking for him and then leaves.  AJ confesses to Hannah that he’s only pretending to be drunk and she is slightly amused.  They engage in a conversation about Roy and Hannah’s relationship and Hannah takes AJ home to dinner which she prepares at Roy’s.  Hannah encourages AJ to show his appealing side more often.

Carly, Jason and Michael discuss the exotic places Jason visited and Michael blows Sonny’s cover by saying “Uncle Sonny” as Sonny tries to sneak away unnoticed.  Sonny and Jason embrace and the two give Carly the “look” that means they want to be alone.  She takes Michael upstairs.  Sonny and Jason discuss the loss of the baby and Carly’s strength throughout the ordeal.  Sonny tells Jason he and Carly are not in a good place right now.  Carly eavesdrop on their conversation.  Jason listens intently as Sonny tells him about the arrest.  Sonny calls Carly out of hiding and she assures both of them that everything will be fine now that Jason is back.  Carly asks Jason why he’s in town and when he says it’s for business reasons, she starts to pry and Sonny tells her to give it up.  Carly tells Jason that he learned all his rude habits from Sonny.  Alexis interrupts and when she tell Jason she hasn’t seen him in a long time, Jason tells her that he saw her quite recently, hanging over some bar in Texas in her underwear.  Alexis is mortified and asks questions about the bar.  She tries to quit as Sonny’s lawyer because she thinks the judge and jury will be mocking her but Sonny won’t let her off the hook.  Jason refuses an invitation to stay at Sonny’s and goes off to find a room at Jake’s when he finds out Alexis has rented his old penthouse.  Carly claims Jason’s return changes everything but Sonny disagrees.  In private, Alexis questions why Sonny hasn’t told Carly that she has to marry him.  Sonny says he can’t do it and Alexis insists he has no alternative whatsoever.
