Sonny convinces Brenda to say yes to his proposal of marriage. After she accepts, they announce their news at Luke's and Tracy's wedding reception. Dante again flashes back to his relationship with Brenda in 2007, remembering the last time he saw her.
Elsewhere at the wedding reception, Nikolas realizes that he really cares about Brook Lynn, but Tracy is one step ahead of him and tells him to steer clear of her granddaughter.
Luke and Tracy dance together, and Tracy declares her love for Luke.
Theo interviews Brenda on behalf of the law firm so that he can determine the validity of the civil suit and how much of a risk she faces. Carly, meanwhile, warns Sonny not to marry Brenda, but doesn't mention the goody she has in her purse: the baby certificate with Dante's name on it as the father of Brenda's child!
Edward is surprised to see his two grandsons, Jason and Michael, visit him. He is very impressed with Michael, who says that he is ready for whatever challenges he faces. Edward wants to give ELQ over to Michael eventually, but Michael isn't interested. Edward then turns his attentions to Ethan and Maya - it's obvious he's grooming Ethan for something having to do with big (and no doubt shady) business!
