Greg Vaughan - Overview:
Greg Vaughan portrayed Lucky Spencer on General Hospital. Vaughan was raised both in Dallas and in Fredericksburg, Texas. Vaughan appeared in some school talent shows, but he actually began his career not as an actor but as a model while still in high school. Eventually, Vaughan wound up working in Milan, Italy, where he was hired for the fashion campaigns of Armani and Versace. His tremendous success led to his work for other design houses, including Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren.

Acting, however, was what Vaughan really wanted to do, so he started doing commercials. He broke into prime-time television on an episode of Baywatch and then Malibu Shores. That Aaron Spelling series spun off into Beverly Hills 90210, with Vaughan portraying Cliff Yeager. Vaughan then branched out into independent films, but as a young hunk, he find loads of work in television, appearing in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Pacific Blue, and Charmed. On Charmed, Vaughan played Dan Gordon, a part created for him by Spelling Entertainment; he also appeared on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. In 2002, he entered daytime via The Young and the Restless, playing Diego Guitierrez. Not long after that, Greg Vaughan became the third actor to play Luke and Laura's son Lucky, following Jonathan Jackson and Jacob Young in the role.
Vaughan's good looks and charm have not gone unnoticed by mainstream media - he was named "One of the Sexiest Men Alive" by People Magazine in 2002. In 2006, Vaughan inherited the "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" crown from Fabio, becoming the face in that product's commercials. That same year, he married Touriya Haoud and became dad to Jathan James Vaughan in 2007.
In what little spare time Vaughan enjoys, he likes to play the guitar, sing, windsurf, hike, and play basketball. Friends and fans alike know him to be a great conversationalist with a wonderful sense of humor and an easy laugh.
