Tristan Rogers and Antonio Sabato, Jr. Work the 'Night Shift'

By , About.com Guide

Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) and Antonio Sabato, Jr. (Jagger Cates) are part of the cast of SOAPnet's new season of General Hospital: Night Shift which debuted on July 22. While battling some health issues, Robert Scorpio (Rogers) will be under the care of his pregnant daughter, Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Maybe now that Scorpio is forced to rest, he and Robin can heal some of the problems in their relationship, and she can heal what's ailing him.

Another GH alumnus, Antonio Sabato, Jr., reprises his role as Jagger Cates on the SOAPnet series also. Don't be surprised if Robin is on quite an emotional rollercoaster; Jagger's brother Stone Cates, who died of AIDS, was her first love. Jagger won't be alone when he arrives in Port Charles; he'll have another Stone Cates by his side - his five-year-old son.

General Hospital: Night Shift was a huge ratings winner for SOAPnet, which is a slight understatement. The show ranked #5 in its time slot among all cable TV networks for those prized viewers between 18 and 49 years of age (women, of course). This year, the series is going to be filmed in high definition and promises to link up well continuity-wise with the daytime series.
