At home, Claudia and Johnny argue - Johnny feels that Claudia's judgment has come into question. His sister says that hiring Ian Devlin to kill Sonny was a mistake, as was trusting Jerry Jax. Understatement! She didn't want Johnny involved for his own protection. This does not mollify Johnny at all. He asks her if anyone besides Jerry knows the truth about Michael's shooting. Claudia reluctantly admits that Nikolas Cassadine knows as well. "Lulu's brother knows you hired Ian Devlin?" he exclaims. It's almost too much for him to take in; Claudia explains that she talked while delirious with fever at Windemere. She goes on to say that Nikolas was buying an illegal drug from Devlin and wouldn't tell. Johnny is not convinced; maybe, Claudia says, she could simply go to Jason and tell him what happened. She believes he is a better person than Johnny thinks, emphasizing that he had yet to start a mob war. Johnny doesn't buy it and insists that Claudia keep her mouth shut.
Jason takes Spinelli's computer away from him and orders him to rest. Spinelli is grateful - Jason's concern means he's not still mad at him for talking with Elizabeth about the lack of romance between the Vixenella (Claudia) and Stone Cold (Jason). Jason explains that he doesn't want Elizabeth upset. Spinelli doesn't think the conversation bothered Elizabeth - it was more the fact that Claudia could interact with Jason, while she could not. Just then, Maxie drops by to visit Spinelli. Spinelli is over the moon until Maxie starts spouting the "you're my best friend" bit. Leyla arrives next, and Maxie heads out to Crimson. Spinelli pours his heart out to Leyla about his Maxinista.
Carly and Sonny have an unpleasant encounter - she shows up at his house to announce that she's not pregnant. He already knows from his visit with Jason - and he knows that she didn't sleep with Jason, concluding, "So if you had been pregnant, you would have lied to my face." "You do anything else to hurt my marriage to Jax, and I'll see to it that you never marry Kate," Carly threatens. She adds that she has already planted the seed of doubt in Kate's mind by telling her that Sonny left Brenda at the altar. Sonny lets Claudia have it. He's given up everything so that Morgan can be safe. All she wants to do is punish him. "TEAR UP THAT PAPER!" he screams. "Give me back my children!" Carly retorts that it's only a matter of time before he goes back into the mob. Max enters and hears Carly and Sonny fighting - and learns that they had sex in the limousine after placing Michael in long-term care. Carly walks out, a furious look on her face. Sonny is concerned about a shipment - Max can't answer him, so Sonny goes to his old office.
Lulu is carrying a tray of lattes back to Kate's office when she runs into Logan on the pier. Logan invites her to a concert. "I'm with Johnny," she says. Logan wants another chance, but Lulu makes it clear that she's not interested.
The waterfront turns out to be a hot meeting place - Claudia and Jason run into each other as well. Claudia urges him to meet with her the next day, promising, "You'll be interested in what I have to say." Jason agrees to see her, but it's obvious that he doesn't want to. Claudia reminds him that she took care of him and Spinelli when they were both sick with Asian ague, adding, "You could at least say thank you." "Thank you for helping Spinelli," he says afer a pause.
Dr. Hunter gets a tour of the new clinic; he looks bored and tries to get out of working there, since he's a surgical resident. He tells Nikolas to just call him when surgical candidates come in - "I'll take all comers," he promises. Nikolas reiterates that Hunter's fellowship is attached to the clinic and named for Emily, a woman always available to help. The mayor visits again. "The only reason this clinic is open is because your aunt called in some favors," he says, indicating that the fight to close the clinic isn't over yet. Nikolas is determined that the clinic will thrive.
When a patient collapses in the clinic, both Nadine and Dr. Hunter realize that she was a GH patient who was given medication and discharged. Hunter examines her carefully and doesn't think the medication had any effect. Another case of bad drugs? This has been an occasional problem at GH, both Nikolas and Nadine tell him. Nadine wonders if Claudia Zacchara has anything to do with it when Dr. Hunter says that counterfeit drugs are an organized crime business. Nikolas states that he will pick up the tab for the uninsured woman, so she is going back to GH. The waiting room is now empty, so the staff leaves; when Lulu arrives, Nikolas is alone. He starts in on her immediately about dumping Johnny. Johnny arrives and suggests that Nikolas should talk to him if he has a problem about his relationship with Lulu.
Sonny asks Bernie some questions about the incoming shipment, but Bernie basically says it's no longer Sonny's concern. Jason enters; Sonny suggests that the shipment go to another port, but it's already been taken care of. Jason asks if Sonny wants his old job back. Sonny becomes defensive - he's only trying to give Jason the benefit of his years of experience. Jason is patient, explaining that Sonny is supposed to be legitimate, and he can't be if he's still involved in this part of the business. Sonny wants to have his cake and eat it, too, so he leaves in a huff.
When Carly answers the door, she's shocked - and not too happy - to see Claudia standing there. Claudia needs her help to break up Johnny and Lulu. Carly feels she's done all she can; it's up to Lulu to decide now. Claudia talks about the violent childhood that Johnny had; Anthony had tried to kill Johnny when he was eight years old and instead killed Johnny's mother. "Lulu is being used as a pawn," Claudia says, adding that she wants to protect Johnny but needs Carly's help.
Another meeting on the pier - Logan offers to sell drugs to Dr. Hunter for the clinic. Huntet says okay, but only if he gets a big enough cut. As the two are talking, Maxie happens along and informs Dr. Hunter that Logan is "a loser."
