As Claudia and Sonny discuss their upcoming nuptials, Claudia notices Olivia standing at her usual spot at the window - any window. Claudia invites her to give Kate the news that she and Sonny are engaged. Olivia's disappointed in Sonny but not surprised. When she leaves, Sonny makes it clear that both Olivia and Kate are not to be dissed by Claudia - in fact, she is to respect the people in his life. If she can't do that, the engagement is off. Claudia agrees and asks that the same respect be given to Johnny and her father. Sonny agrees.
The two also decide to let go of the past they shared, including Sonny's suspicions about what happened to Michael, and to be considerate of one another. Claudia points out that she's not a madonna, but that doesn't mean she wants to be treated like a whore either. The two seal the deal with champagne, and when Claudia suggests that maybe Sonny would like to be out of the arrangement, Sonny disagrees. He'd like to get married tonight.
Jason appears to be in mucho trouble with the authorities as he's brought into the PCPD. Much is made of the fact that he's still wearing the clothes he used to bomb the warehouse. First of all, they're the clothes he wears to do everything. Now, I could understand that if they were planning on doing forensics on these clothes, but all they talk about is that he's wearing them, so this indicates a pattern of behavior - how I don't know - and everyone acts as if it means he therefore has no fashion sense and deserves to be locked up. In the middle of it is Diane saying they have no evidence. Well, they would have if they'd unite the two brain cells they've got going over there. Meanwhile Alexis has sided with Mac and decided to bring Jason down.
Elizabeth builds a fort for the kids in the back of the cabin and advises Cameron to stay there with Jake. Sam gives Elizabeth a shotgun and shows her how to use it. Elizabeth can't handle it, so Sam gives her a shotgun. Elizabeth is terrified, but Sam keeps telling her she can do it and promises her that she will protect the kids with her life.
At Jake's, Johnny laments that if he leaves the family business, there's not much he can do to make a living, but Lulu encourages him, saying he doesn't need his family to make a living.
Kate's back, but in her present mood, who wants her, as she berates Maxie for the way the magazine turned out and criticizes her coffee. Olivia comes by and compliments Maxie, saying that she got the magazine out on time and that Kate should be grateful. She isn't. I suppose Olivia figures that while Kate is in this horrible humor, it's as good a time as any to tell her that Sonny and Claudia are getting hitched. Kate kills the messenger verbally saying she's sure Olivia is thrilled - now she has a better chance to nab Sonny for herself.
By the time Jax arrives and compliments Maxie, saying the numbers for that issue were the highest ever, Kate is flipping out in her repressed way. With Maxie gone, she tells Jax that she doesn't want to talk business, but rather celebrate for not making the worst mistake of her life by marrying Sonny. They have some champagne, but Jax quickly removes the barrier of the glasses and the two go at it! YES!
Diane shows up at PCPD, hoping that she can appeal to Alexis to free Jason, since there's no evidence. Alexis advises Diane to quit the case - it's too high profile for her to lose and come out the other side with any career. Alexis is determined that Jason will pay for the city at siege.
Worn out from standing between Jax and Nikolas, Carly plows into Jake's asking for a beer. Olivia adds some shots to the order and then tells Carly that Claudia and Sonny are getting married. Carly downs those shots in a hurry. She tells Olivia that her connection with Sonny wrecked her relationship with Jax. Olivia asks her which man she would choose, Sonny or Jax - Carly says Jax in a second. Carly then asks Olivia the same question about her relationship with Sonny back in Bensonhurst. Olivia admits he meant more to her than she ever admitted. And now? Inquiring minds want to know. We already know the answer - all GH women fall for Sonny.
Sam peeks outside and says she doesn't see anything. Just then, a shotgun is fired through the window.
