Jason refuses to allow Spinelli to accompany him on a stakeout of the Karpov warehouse. Spinelli feels that if he can only prove that he is tough and masculine like Stone Cold, Maxie will fall for him the way he has fallen for her. Jason listens to as much as he can stand before he gives in.
It turns out that Jason's instincts were right. The heat is fierce, and Spinelli passes out across the steering wheel. It certainly is an attention grabber.
Alexis, meanwhile, sees Maxie as less an object of Spinelli's affections than as a witness to Logan's murder, and she asks for more details. Maxie doesn't seem to be able to recall much. Trevor reminds Alexis that if she doesn't clear Johnny of all charges, Anthony will retaliate in the worst possible way. Alexis is only too aware of what he means when she spots Anthony in the park near Kristina.
Nikolas stops by to get advice from Alexis about Lulu. Alexis emphasizes that the only thing that can keep Lulu from prosecution is commitment to a mental institution. When he sees Claudia while she's doing her daily run, Nikolas tells her that he has a way to get Lulu and Johnny out of the country. Claudia is all ears.
Today is the big day that Robin and Patrick learn the sex of their baby, though it's hard for the caffeine-free version of Robin to get too excited about it. As the time grows nearer, and as Robin talks to Maxie, she gets more excited. Finally the news is announced - it's a girl!
