Kate is panicked about the blood on her wedding dress and insists on doing a lot of rituals to break the curse. Hopping, spitting, throwing salt, she does it all. Sonny says he can break the curse, and they make love. p]As Nadine and Nikolas dance, she fantasizes that she's in a beautiful white gown and that Nikolas is in a tux. A Cinderella fantasy. The next thing she knows, Nikolas is catching her as she falls, dizzy. Her pager goes off - Spinelli is in the ER - and she leaves. Question - why does the pager include the name of the patient and the situation? I thought you called in after you were paged and then found out what you needed to know.
Spinelli is hit by the car that comes toward he and Maxie. As Spinelli lays on the ground, Maxie frantically calls 911. He's taken to General Hospital where, to Maxie's dismay, Dr. Hunter is on duty. When Spinelli is told that he needs a splenectomy, Nadine and Maxie advise him not to let Hunter operate. Elizabeth quietly assures Maxie that Matt is a good surgeon. Spinelli leaves the decision up to her.
Sam calls Lucky from the docks to let him know that she's certain that something big is about to happen. Then she spots Jerry. He and Karpov meet, but they speak Russian. When she drops in on Alexis, Jerry and Alexis are making out in the DA's office. Totally appropriate. She leaves without explaining to her mother why she's there.
As Johnny tries to quiet Lulu, she screams at the ghost of Logan. Lucky runs in and pushes Johnny out of the way. Scott thinks Lulu is faking and informs Johnny that he's going to make her take the stand; Johnny lunges toward him but is stopped. Claudia is now convinced that Johnny didn't tell her everything about that night and demands some answers. She doesn't get them. Poor Lulu is dragged off, screaming for Johnny.
When Trevor arrives at PCPD, he and Claudia have a terrible fight. She decides Ric would be better at defending Johnny, but he's on vacation and can't be reached. Claudia decides to find him, so she breaks in to Alexis' office. She discovers a note with the name of his hotel. How convenient! Alexis arrives and catches her.
As they sit on the couch in the afterglow, Kate talks a little about her cousin Olivia. Sonny was under the impression they were close friends, but Kate claims they were very competitive, and that Olivia told her she would never amount to anything. She wishes that Olivia could see her now. When she leaves the room, Sonny calls Mrs. Cerullo. He tells her that he needs a favor...I hope he knows what he's doing.
Once returned to Shadybrook, Lulu goes to see her mother. In an emotional scene, she takes Laura's hand, sobbing that Logan wants her to pay, and that he's winning. Overcome, Lulu buries her face in her arms, crying. Suddenly, she feels a hand on her head. She looks up to see Laura, who at first seems stunned, look directly at her. "Everything's going to be all right," she says. "Mama's here."
