Sonny wants Claudia out of his business meeting, but she quietly tells him she can give him insight into the people and the business. Sonny announces to the group that they will reconvene the next day. He then asks Ric and Claudia why he should trust either one of them. They aren't to undermine him or make decisions in his name. Then he leaves for Kate's. What a nerve. Ric thinks this means that he can have time with Claudia, but she turns him down. This is her house with Sonny now, and she has to respect it. Claudia, honey, you need a lot of help.
The Qs are hiding from Tracy, who has been on the rampage since she broke up with Luke. Her ghostly brother Alan suggests that maybe she should give Luke a call. Tracy doesn't have to - Edward does it for her, begging him to move back in and promising him anything. Luke can't wait to come back. The booze is high quality. Tracy wants him out, but Monica prevails, since it's her house, and asks Luke to stay.
Maxie and Spinelli arrive. Maxie is annoyed about the whole thing, saying she doesn't want to help anybody. It really seems that she's annoyed that Lulu is leaving again. She and Spinelli leave to get clothes and food for the fugitives. When they return, Spinelli has checked the computer, and the cop never reported the assault. Maxie gets carried away and hugs Lulu.
Carly really wants Trevor to help her destroy Kate, though she doesn't get a definite answer. She turns to Nikolas, who is distracted by a call from a crying Nadine saying they have to postpone their wedding. Nikolas has learned by now to play along.
Ric argues with Claudia regarding her notions about Sonny, explaining that she isn't the type of woman who can save a man or redeem him by love the way Sonny wants to be saved. She's not Lilly, Kate or Emily. He thinks she has some delusions. That's putting it mildly. Claudia is in deep denial and says that love is a destructive force, a cosmic joke. Ric says he pities her. When he leaves, Claudia's eyes well up with tears. She'd like nothing better than to be Mrs. Sonny Corinthos in FACT as well as name, for all her protestations about love.
If Sonny is looking for redemption, he won't find it at Kate's. She gives him a cool greeting but acts very civilly. She's okay with moving on, she says, and realizes now that he never loved her. It was all a fantasy - on both their parts. He rants and raves about how he's trying to avenge her shooting, and Kate raises her voice to tell Sonny that he's not back in the mob because of her. He's the only one who doesn't seem to know that.
Luke gets a foot massage from Alice as he relaxes on the couch drinking the good stuff. Tracy enters and gets on the phone. She wants the jet made ready for her trip to the Dominican Republic - to get a divorce.
Sonny returns home to Claudia in a bathrobe. Obviously the evening didn't go as planned for him. She advises him to accept himself for who he is. She goes up to bed, leaving Sonny with a drink in his hand, trying to figure out what went wrong.
