After just visiting Johnny, Trevor is shocked to learn that Johnny has escaped with Lulu. Anthony, true to form, threatens to kill both Ric and Trevor if Johnny isn’t brought home safely. Trevor blames Anthony for the whole mess. “I warned you that Lulu was bad news,” he says, “but you pushed them together.” Anthony has decided to kill Lulu when she is found. That’s his answer to everything.
Johnny takes Lulu to the apartment of his old professor, who usually goes away for the summer. Lulu meanwhile is very hyper about what happened to Logan, terrified that she is going to end up like Laura. There’s a knock at the door; it’s a huge tatted up biker type – holding a gun. Johnny says his name is Joe. The man states that the professor has passed away.
Claudia begs Spinelli to use his cyber skills to find Johnny. Maxie reminds Claudia that Spinelli works for Jason. As a result, Claudia tries to blackmail Maxie, using their secret deal to get Johnny from Lulu, in order to get her to encourage Spinelli to find her brother. Maxie responds by telling Spinelli the whole story. In the end, Spinelli announces he’s not doing anything unless Jason gives the okay. Claudia wastes no time going to see Jason.
Nikolas visits Jason at his interrogation room office and asks for help finding Lulu. Jason doesn’t think he knows anything that will help. He does believe that Lulu brought in the gun and is not truly a hostage – though she sure looked scared when she left. Nikolas reports this to Lucky. The mayor is at PCPD – after all, Lulu and Johnny used his car for their getaway - and expresses anger that Nikolas had been visiting Jason. Nikolas counters by informing the mayor that he needs to get busy getting Lulu back home.
Ric, Trevor and Claudia, all of whom want to see Jason, appear at PCPD. They should be making appointments. They are all arguing with one another as Anthony appears. He predicts to Nikolas that Lulu will end up like Laura. Nikolas ignores the wheelchair and attacks Anthony. Nadine arrives and gets Nikolas out of there, but he is unwilling to talk about what happened. “I learned after Emily die that sometimes the worst possible thing really can happen,” he says.
Jason continues to hold court. No one stops Anthony from going into the interrogation room and speaking with Jason – well, actually, threatening Jason. When it’s Claudia’s turn, she begs for Jason’s help in finding Johnny. “Just tell me when you hear from your brother,” Jason says. She agrees, if it means getting his help.
In the home of Jax and Carly, Jax has decided to leave his wife. Carly is stunned and does everything she can to convince him to stay with her. She accuses him of leaving when the going gets tough, citing his many marriages as examples. “I didn’t sign up for misery,” he says. “Misery is a part of life,” she says. She reminds of the wedding vows, which both of them by now must have memorized. She demands that he kiss her goodbye if he’s leaving, and he does. It’s a hot one. Jax admits that he will always love her – but he leaves.
At Jason’s, Maxie asks Spinelli if he’s disappointed in her. Spinelli says no, that he could never judge her. He is then crushed when Maxie tells him that she considers him family. There’s a glimmer of hope, though – Jason wanted the two of them to stay together at his place for safety. Maxie decides to risk it because her father is so busy at PCPD; she can leave him a message, and he wouldn’t get it until it was too late. WRONG. Mac is at Jason’s within seconds ordering her home. She leaves, but only after Mac agrees that Spinelli can escort her. When Maxie arrives home and turns on the lights, she sees Matt, GH’s new addition. He’s half dressed. Maxie screams.
