Michael Likes the Idea of Danger
Michael is very excited when he sees Jason and tells him about the gunman he met. He wants to help Jason find him. Jason refuses his help.
A worried Jason discusses the Michael situation with Sam. He feels like a hypocrite telling Michael that he can't be involved in mob activities, when he was the same way, and no one could talk him out of anything. Sam advises Jason to present Michael with some viable options and to be honest with him. She also talks about her own problems with Kristina.
Michael goes to see Johnny and tells him that he wants to learn the business. He believes the garage is a front and that Johnny can help him - after all, they were both born into it. Jason comes along just as Johnny says that he refuses to help Michael get shot again. Jason wants to know what Johnny means by "again."
Sam has a talk with Kristina, which is interrupted by Alexis. Kristina has an excuse for everything she did, and Sam can't get any further because Alexis enters. It's obvious that Alexis is clueless about Kristina. Her take on the Jake's fight was that Michael got Kristina to go to a bar.
Claudia is up to her neck in problems as she has to hide Dominic in her bedroom. At one point, she tries to smother him with a pillow. For a woman who used the term "psychotic" twice, she's really the pot calling the kettle black. Dominic insists that Claudia needs him. He can reveal to Sonny that she ordered the hit on Jason. He also verifies that Johnny saved Jason by pushing him out of the line of fire.
Alexis visits Michael at Sonny's and let's him know that she cares about him but that he's a bad influence on precious Kristina. Kristina at that moment is upstairs. As she enters Claudia's bedroom, she has a surprise - a shirtless killer is hiding there too. Dominic.
Claudia walks into the garage, livid that Johnny circumvented her plans to kill Jason. Johnny loses his temper - there was no way he could return to Sonny's alive with Jason dead, or he'd have been dead a minute later. He yells at her for not thinking her plan through.
When she gets home, Claudia has a fight with Alexis about Kristina - Claudia thinks it's fine for Kristina and Michael to hang out, and Alexis doesn't. She will not permit Claudia to tell her what to do about her own daughter.
Brianna: What's Ric Got to Do with It?
Patrick and Robin are beat when they get to General Hospital. It's not because of Emma, they inform Epiphany. It's the autopsy report on Brianna that kept them up. At that moment, Andrea appears and admits that she hired a detective; she knew about the affair. She married her husband for influence and power, and now he's slated to lose all of it if the affair is revealed. She again implores Patrick to settle out of court. Patrick and Robin decide to see the Mayor.
Mayor Floyd informs Robin and Patrick that he doesn't have a lot of time for them. Patrick explains that the autopsy shows two bruises in the same place, and they think that Brianna was murdered. Mayor Floyd waxes poetic about his adoration of Brianna, how much he loved her, how he wanted to divorce Andrea, and how he never could have harmed her. He wants to find out what happened to her.
Back at GH, Matt is unable to get into his office. Epiphany tells him that until the files on Brianna are removed, the office will be unavailable to him. He becomes very disagreeable and walks away. Maxie, overhearing the whole thing, uses a credit card to try to break into Matt's office. She's stopped by Touissant, who, though impressed by her looks, wants to know what the heck she's doing. Matt, who returns, wants to know as well. Maxie indicates that she and Matt wanted to get together. Matt's willing to play along, but once Touissant is out of the way, Maxie slaps his arm and tells him not to even think about such a scenario.
Back at Ric's (some really sloppy editing here - first Andrea is at Ric's, then she's at the hospital, then she's at Ric's again), he's of the opinion that the Mayor should be implicated in the murder. Andrea objects. If they can convince Brianna's family to settle out of court, they can still get what they want.
Well, we said the editing was sloppy - they could have put the hospital scenes on another day. Andrea is back at the hospital again. This time she's screaming at Matt for ruining everything she's worked for and slaps him in the face.
