Claudia is surprised that Sonny wants to get married immediately. However, the sooner he marries Claudia, the sooner he has the Zacchara resources at his disposal to get rid of the Russians and protect both her and her brother. Claudia goes home to, as she puts it, get into something a little more matrimonial.
Diane and Alexis duke it out about Jason's incarceration. Diane accuses Alexis of trying to make up for the Jerry debacle. Spinelli arrives and asks to speak with Jason. Once in the interrogation room, Spinelli announces that he has put his cyberskills to the test to free his boss. Jason protests, not wanting Spinelli to lie for him or get himself at the trouble. Spinelli has hacked into Interpol and made sure there is plenty about a Slavic gang in the warehouse fire file. Interpol has jurisdiction over the PCPD. They take all the evidence and Jason is freed.
The Russians fire into the cabin; one Russian crashes in and is killed by Sam as Elizabeth watches in horror. Sam tells Elizabeth that they need the Russians to think they're dead, so the two sit quietly waiting for the Russians' next move. One of the kids cries, and Elizabeth crawls into the next room. At this point, Sam is out of ammunition, so she stands behind the door, rifle ready to beat someone up. A Russian kicks in the front door, and Sam attacks. However, she's overpowered - just then, the Russian falls to the ground. Elizabeth has just finished him off. She's horrified - like Scarlett O'Hara, she guesses she's done murder!
Kate and Jax recover after their kiss, and Jax wonders if Kate's motive is to get back at Carly or if he's just so darn goodlooking. Well, it's a little of both, and Jax doesn't mind. Sonny arrives just then to tell Kate that he's marrying Claudia momentarily. She already knows. Seeing Jax, he advises her not to do anything stupid. "I already have," she replies - meaning with Sonny! good for her.
Alexis has to release Jason, and she's not interested in reconnecting with Diane any time soon either, stating that Diane attacked her personally by bringing up Jerry. She asks Diane if she thought Alexis was so stupid as to not realize Jerry was up to his neck in criminal activity, and that Sam was telling her the truth. She was setting him up. She stops her tirade and admits she did hope Jerry would change; she wanted someone to be with. "It's what we all want," Diane says.
Anthony wants the mob wedding at his place; Johnny threatens to leave the family if the wedding takes place. Claudia cries, but Johnny is out of there. He goes to Jake's and asks Lulu to join him on an exciting new journey as he tries to make his way without the Zaccharas. Lulu looks thrilled.
Carly shows up at Sonny's and asks him not to marry Claudia. He pays no attention to her, but he gives her a gun so she can protect himself and Morgan. After all, he's back in the business.
Claudia and Ric have a moment before the wedding - she tells him that she has the feeling she'll be even hotter to him once she's married to Sonny. The two share a passionate kiss before the wedding party enters. This includes the Justice of the Peace who refused to marry Claudia and Jason earlier. When he realizes she's marrying Sonny, he goes white. Claudia, by the way, is in her usual black.
With Sonny gone, Kate and Jax go at it. Carly, after hearing from Sonny that Jax was with Kate, has gone to Kate's house. She stands outside the window watching the two make love. She walks inside, where the two are making love on the floor. Slowly, Carly draws the gun that Sonny gave her out of her pocket.
Jason heads for the cabin and becomes concerned when he can't through by phone. As he drives up, Elizabeth is standing outside screaming Jake's name. The Russians have Jake.
