Sonny butts heads with the FBI agent on Kristina's case; Luke needs to make a decision about Lucky; Emily tells Elizabeth the truth; more evidence implicates Sam; Courtney deals with the shocking news Skye gives her; Jason makes a dangerous move.
Luke enters Lucky's hospital room. "So it's come to this," he whispers to his son. "You and your mother, both lost to me." Bobbie enters. "Look what Helena has done to my kid," he cries. "Don't count Lucky out," she encourages him. "He could come back from this." "Is that your professional opinion, or your unyielding optimism in the face of a disaster?" he asks. "Medical miracles do happen," she insists. "Don't give up hope." "Tony disagrees," Luke says.
"Stay away from me!" Emily screams repeatedly at Steven. "You know me," he reminds her. "Just try to relax, okay?" he asks. "What's going on?" Elizabeth asks, entering the reception area. Elizabeth shakes and cries, apologizing to Steven. "You have so much on your plate," he comforts her. "We all lose control once in a while. Check into the hospital overnight. I'll give you something to calm you down." Elizabeth steers her to the couch and holds Emily as she cries. Emily pours the entire story of the rape out to Elizabeth. "I think Nikolas needs to know so he can support you," Elizabeth says. "No," Emily says, "Nikolas needs my support and my strength, and I need to give it to him. I need you to help me fight this. Or else Connor wins." Elizabeth promises that she will.
Elizabeth and Emily speak with Bobbie and Luke. Elizabeth is upset that there is any discussion of a living will, and Emily speaks of her own experience of being near death. "But I'm here, I'm alive," she points out. "You weren't hooked up to a breathing machine. If you had been, I wonder what your father would have done," Luke says. Skye rushes in and embraces Luke. "Did you find Helena?" she asks. "Yeah, I found her," Luke says. He opens his coat. He's been stabbed. "She told me Lucky was dead," Luke says. "I didn't believe her." Bobbie calls Steven over. As Luke is protesting, he passes out. After coming to and getting antibiotics, Luke asks about Lucky's case. Steven states that Lucky appears to be in a permanent coma. "It falls to you whether to keep him on life support," Steven tells him. Luke returns to Lucky's room, locking the door. "I didn't always like you, but I loved you," he says to Lucky. "I respected your independence...You have your mother's heart. We shared a great adventure, the three of us. What now? What am I supposed to do?" He sobs.
"You're still legally married to A.J.," Skye informs Courtney. Jax pops into the Metrocourt. "Miss anything?" he asks. Skye and Courtney pretend they were discussing him. Courtney stops Skye from leaving. "You don't mind if I pick her brain, do you?" Courtney asks Jax, pulling Skye aside. She extracts a promise from Skye that she won't tell anyone about A.J. "Why?" Skye asks. Suddenly, she sighs. "Ah - because of Jason. You're divorced - what does it matter?" "I don't want anyone to find out until I figure out how to fix it," Courtney says. "I'm going to call Justus." "I hope it's that simple," Skye says. "If A.J. knew the divorce wasn't legal, why didn't he come to me sooner?" Courtney asks. "He was sitting on this until he could do maximum damage to you and Jason," Skye replies. "But you two broke up before he could use it." She hands Courtney A.J.'s number in the Bahamas. Courtney runs out to find Justus, leaving Skye to give Jax some excuse about her whereabouts. She tells Jax that she gave Courtney a spa evening as a gift.
Justus meets Courtney on the pier. He hands her the divorce papers. "You need A.J.'s original signature," he tells her. Courtney announces that she'll get the next plane to the Bahamas; Justus offers to accompany her. She doesn't think it's necessary. "Courtney, what if he doesn't sign the papers?" he asks. In the Bahamas, A.J. orders flowers to fill the room for "a much anticipated reunion."
