Many of these have been mentioned already. Claudia supposedly is going to enter into a marriage of convenience - but with whom? Anthony wants her to marry Sonny and make him part of the family so that he can't turn on the Zaccharas. This shocks Claudia. However, she gives it some thought and sees a way into more power. She decides to get married, all right, but to Jason. This way, there is no war between the families. If Sonny comes into the Zacchara family, he will start a war by attacking Karpov. Jason follows her line of reasoning and actually agrees to marry her. This I have to see. They do go to a justice of the peace, who is suspicious of both of them and refuses to marry them! What happens then - no news yet.
The most interesting news to this old-timer anyway is the resurrection of the old Luke and Laura. An adventure is in the making that will involve the whole family, including the kids, plus Tracy and Scott. Now you're talking. Scott evidently comes up with a plan to win Laura back. Tracy will be stuck in a position where she rescues Laura. Again, I'll believe all of this when I see it - and I hope I see it.
Nikolas' romance with Nadine takes on theater of the absurd characteristics and ties in with the Spencer caper, where it takes on a new twist.
Robin and Patrick will have a great wedding, followed by a complicated and inopportune birth of their daughter.
As already mentioned, the mob will have a prominent place in sweeps and pull in all of the couples and mobsters: Sonny, Carly, Jason, Jax, Maxie, Spinelli, Lucky, Sam, Elizabeth. Sonny finds out about his son and not only that, but he returns to the old Sonny. We'll see some alliances from the past back again, both for Sonny and Jason.
Johnny and Lulu will continue with their romance, and Johnny will become more unhappy with his Zacchara legacy.
Charming and sleazy Jerry will morph into Mr. Craig, and it's going to be bad news for Alexis, Sam, Jax and Lucky.
As far as Spinelli as Dante, this seems to have all been a waste of good space. That's not to say it was never true - it just doesn't seem to be true any longer. There is a casting call for Dante, and let's face it, if Dante resembled Spinelli, Olivia would have commented on it by now. Rumors have been around forever that Bradford Anderson is going to have a dual role, either as a split personality or as two different people. We'll have to see if this rumor rears its head again. Certainly that's nothing new for General Hospital and Bradford Anderson is totally up to the task. Some rumors have a little truth in them after all.
