Lucky returns to the cabin. By now, Skye has arrived. There is no sign of Emily. He does not want to call in the police. "We'll all wind up in jail. We need to call my dad." Police cars pull up. "Elizabeth, what have you done?" Lucky demands. "Hopefully, I've just saved Emily's life," she answers. Mac enters, and Elizabeth blurts out what happened. Skye verifies that Helena is alive, filling Mac in on the entire plan. "This is Luke's plan," Mac guesses. Lucky admits that he buried Connor in the woods. They all end up at PCPD.
"I didn't shoot Nikolas! The man I killed was Connor!" Emily screams to her captors as they bring her to the Cassadine crypt. Helena smiles. "I can't trust anything you tell me. I'm sending a representative to Pentonville to see if Nikolas is there." "You can't see him, he's in solitary," Emily says. "What a great way to hide an imposter," Helena states. "You're going to spend your last days in the Cassadine crypt, dying of thirst and starvation. If Nikolas is alive, I am sparing him from a lifetime of your wholesome mediocrity." Helena and the two men depart. Emily finds a candlestick. Spotting a window, she digs around until she finds matches. Lighting the candle, she gathers leaves and debris from the floor into a pile and starts a fire. It's not long before two thugs arrive, put out the fire, and take the candle. However, she has stolen a cell phone from one of the men.
While Lucky confesses to burying Connor by himself, Emily calls Mac and gives her whereabouts. Lucky wants to go along, but Mac removes him from the force. Skye and Elizabeth don't want Lucky to take all the blame, but Lucky says it was his idea.
Mac and his men break into the crypt, but it's empty. When Lucky finds out, he suggests to his accomplices that perhaps Emily was never there in the first place. "There was static on the line," he reminds them. "Well, Mac heard she was in a crypt," Elizabeth points out. Skye's face lights up. "But she wouldn't have taken Emily to the Quartermaine crypt - she would have taken her someplace private, like the Cassadine crypt on Spoon Island!" Alas, when they try to leave, an officer stops them. Lucky pretends to obey, then elbows the policeman in the stomach and knocks him out. The three rush from PCPD.
Helena returns to the crypt. "I'm not going to let you kill me," Emily says. "I had hoped your death would be slow and tortuous, giving me years of pleasure. But no. You had to steal the cell phone from one of my men." "I called Mac Scorpio," Emily informs her. Helena points her gun at Emily. "Then I'd better act quickly. Say goodbye, Emily. I did go to Pentonville. It is Nikolas in that cell. The man I saw you kill was Connor Bishop. But that's irrelevant. You're still going to die." Helena assures Emily that Nikolas will get over her as soon as he learns what went on between her and Connor - and that the reason she killed Connor was to cover up their nasty goings-on. "You have no idea what happened," Emily chokes, sinking to the floor. "Pull the trigger! Do it! I led Connor on. I betrayed my husband. I don't deserve to live." "You're stalling," Helena accuses her. "Drop the gun," Lucky orders from the entrance. "Now." Helena starts to lower the gun, but gets Emily in a chokehold with her arm instead. "Now I get to kill a Spencer, too," Helena says. "Drop the gun." "She's not going to kill me," Emily says. "Nikolas will hate you if you do. He'll never forgive you." "On the count of three, I'll kill her," Helena announces. "One..." "Okay," Lucky says, dropping the gun and kicking it away. Helena commands, "Hold still. I'm going to try to shoot you both with one bullet." Emily throws her arm back, knocking Helena off balance. She makes a run for the exit. Lucky makes a quick dive for the gun. Helena reaches it at the same time. The two fight over it. The gun goes off.
