Sonny asks Jason to stop by, and there, Jason finds out what happened between his sister and his boss. Sonny then admits that he lied to Emily. “I have feelings for her, but I have no plans to act on them,” he says. Sam answers the door at the penthouse. Robin is there to see Jason and asks if she can wait. She tells Sam that she gave her deposition about Manny. Sam thinks that she and Robin are of one mind, but learns quickly that Robin feels differently. “You shouldn’t be defending him,” Sam snaps. “You should be testifying against him.” “You’re a hypocrite,” Robin says. “You condone Jason’s lifestyle. Manny is in the same business.” Jason walks into this. “I don’t understand why I’m being criticized for being honest,” Robin complains. “And I’m not going to apologize for telling A.J. that he was Michael’s father.” “It wasn’t about doing what was right for you,” Jason counters. “It was about Michael. Because of you, Michael’s life was torn apart.”
At Carly’s Michael is on his way out when Carly arrives home. Max is bringing him to Sonny’s to pick up his video game. Carly forbids the trip. This makes Michael angry. “You don’t have any right to come home and order me around,” he pouts. “I’m not letting you do what you want all the time,” she states. “And you owe me an apology for speaking to me that way.” She doesn’t get one. Michael runs upstairs and out the window, going to the docks bouncing his basketball. When Carly goes to his room later, Michael is gone. Thinking Michael is with Sonny, Carly goes to Graystone and yells at her ex for spoiling the kids. She wants to have a discussion with Michael and both parents present. “Well, that will be difficult,” Sonny says, “since you didn’t bring Michael with you.” Realizing Michael is not there, both Sonny and Carly panic.
On the docks, Michael’s basketball falls on to the ice. While trying to reach it, Michael falls, and the ice breaks underneath him.
