Spinelli finally begins to sing "I Wanna Know What Love Is" and as he's singing, Maxie stands in his eyeline. Spinelli's voice gains in power until he's really performing like a pro. When it's over, the crowd erupts in wild applause, and Spinelli and Maxie kiss. Maxie is enraptured, and Spinelli says it was her love that helped him find his voice.
[The two rush back to the penthouse. Jason and Sam are in the living room. Spinelli and Maxie are so busy kissing, they barely notice them. Upstairs, they make love and also plenty of noise, which makes Sam giggle and Jason uncomfortable. After their lovemaking, the two declare their love for one another.
Back at Jake's, Diane can't stop talking about Spinelli's gift to Maxie, and how romantic it all was. Max excuses himself and suddenly appears, mike in hand, singing like a canary. When he sips his drink, the beautiful singing continues, and Diane bursts out laughing. He's lipssyncing. Max pulls her into a dance.
Robin and Patrick arrive home and get cozy on the couch, the picture of the perfect couple, laughing and teasing one another. Karaoke night has had a good effect on everyone.
Sam Winds Up in Jason's Arms
Downstairs, Sam is running a background check on "Dominic," using Spinelli's computer. When she tried to go up the stairs earlier to get the computer, she tripped, and fell into Jason's arms. The shoes did her in, and now she's hurt her ankle. While she's working, Jason puts ice on her ankle.
Ethan Threatens Rebecca
Ethan watches as Rebecca and Nikolas kiss at the pier as they wait for the launch. Rebecca sees him and pulls away. Later, once Nikolas is asleep, she returns to meet Ethan and admonishes him for spying. What happens if Nikolas sees him? Ethan suspects that he's being played, and he doesn't like it. He demands $10,000 of Cassadine money by the next day, or he's going to Nikolas. A worried Rebecca returns to Windemere.
Dante Gets Secret Info
[Claudia refuses Dante's generous offer that they become partners. Dante meets his buddy on the docks - his friend thinks he's insane to have gone to Sonny. Dante begs him for some inside Zacchara information. His friend is too afraid and starts to run off, then changes his mind. He has something that Dante might be able to use. Dante returns to Sonny's with the information, which Claudia overhears. Sonny is suitably impressed - if the story is true, which he will check out.
Olivia is shaken up by Sonny's visit and his insistence that he still wants her. Now Dante appears at her door, as summoned, and she asks him how long he plans on staying in Port Charles. Well, he's working, and he doesn't know. Nervously, Olivia advises him to return to New York. Never mind, Olivia. They've already met.
