However he got it, Michael is surprised by his mother's actions and also excited. She does warn him that he has to adhere to the rules of the road, and that she and Sonny are trusting him to be responsible. Edward takes him out for a drive, giving Sonny a chance to express his dismay. I'm not sure why - didn't he buy his son a car? Sonny doesn't understand why Carly didn't discuss it with him. Probably because he didn't discuss the car with her. They do agree that from now on, they will consult one another where Michael is concerned. Then Sonny's cell phone rings. It's Jason, and he needs to see Sonny right away.
Later, Michael shows Morgan his license. Morgan has a few stories about Carly's driving, so Michael gives him a St. Christopher medal to protect him.
Jason and Johnny discuss the shootout in the woods and the fact that police sirens could be heard as they ran out. Jason believes someone called the police. He says something about it to Claudia, and she takes it as an accusation, insisting that she would never do anything to harm Johnny. In talking it over with Sonny, Sonny tells Jason that there must be a mole in the Zacchara organization. He thinks it's to his organization's benefit. He orders Jason to put a hold on incoming shipments and keep a low profile - but find the guy who attempted to kidnap Morgan.
Dominic, in the meantime, has put his hand over a terrified Olivia's mouth. When she turns around she sees it's her son, Dante. She nearly kills him for frightening her. The two enter her apartment and talk. Seeing the man's watch on the coffee table, Dante asks his mom if she's seeing someone. He hopes it's not Sonny Corinthos. Turns out, the family prays constantly that she doesn't take up with Sonny again. Olivia thinks they're being foolish imagine that she would even consider it.
After Dominic leaves, Johnny stops by, surprising Olivia. She thought he was working for Sonny during the evening. Suddenly, she becomes nervous, but acts as if she gets over it quickly, saying she didn't expect him. She talks about her family and Dante, and Johnny asks about Dante's father. Olivia says she was a wild thing and doesn't really know who it is.
Dante heads over to Sonny's, where he has a big confrontation with Claudia. She wants him out of town; he wants to work for Sonny. Claudia says that it's impossible. She's afraid that people will connect them. She wants him gone - immediately. Later, he spies on Sonny and Carly. If he can hear through the window, he now knows that his mother is sleeping with Johnny. Just as Sonny and Claudia are having their usual argument about it, the baby kicks, and Sonny feels Claudia's stomach.
At Jason's penthouse, Spinelli prepares for his upcoming karaoke appearance at Jake's. It's not going particularly well. Robin and Patrick arrive - they want him to help prove that someone else, not the Mayor, killed Brianna. Spinelli begs off, due to his pressing commitment at Jake's. Patrick offers to help. When he treated Eli Love, he learned about pitch correction software that might at least get Spinelli to sing on pitch. Patrick gets the information for him, and Spinelli is able to purchase and download the software. When Jason arrives home, he's impressed by how good Spinelli sounds. Spinelli goes upstairs. Carly arrives moments later and hears Spinelli vocalizing sans software and then singing with software. She comments that he sounds good. Jason needs her to go back to the night in the woods and tell him the whole story again, and give her a thorough description of the man they met in the woods. Carly asks Jason why - what is he going to do with him?
Andrea goes to town on Alexis' computer while Kristina is up in her room on the phone. When she hears Kristina heading downstairs, Andrea bolts. Kristina goes to check her email and sees a lot of emails sent to Mayor Floyd from her mother. The emails say things like she has to have him, she loves him, all giving Alexis the appearance of a crazed stalker. They work for Kristina; she becomes very, very upset. When Michael shows up to visit her (without an adult in the car, I'm sure), a sobbing Kristina shows him the emails, believing that Alexis lied to her.
When Alexis arrives home, Kristina manages not to show her feelings. Meanwhile, Robin and Patrick are having dinner at the MetroCourt when Andrea Floyd enters and nods hello. She phones Alexis and asks to see her. Alexis arrives, Andrea screams at her to leave Garrett alone! Stop following him! Stunned, Alexis dashes out, but the damage is done. Patrick, Robin, and everyone else heard the whole thing. Andrea informs Patrick and Robin that Alexis is obsessed with her husband.
