Here's Hoping the Mayor Looks Good in an Orange Jumpsuit Responding to a page, Alexis shows up at PCPD and is surprised to learn that Mac doesn't know anything about it, except that he was paged also. Spinelli, Patrick, Robin, and Maxie enter to announce that they sent the page - they're there to report a murder. Spinelli begins to explain, but Mac becomes exasperated and asks for Robin's summary. He finally learns that the mayor had a motive, which was to stop the blackmail, and that Brianna had two bruises in the same place. Spinelli, however, disagrees that the Mayor is guilty.
Mayor Floyd arrives after being summoned. The place is awash with cameramen and reporters. He is arrested, but when asked for a statement, he gives one: He's not guilty, and Alexis can't try his case because they were once lovers. Kristina is there waiting for her mother, and the look on her face is priceless.
Spinelli and Maxie rush back to the PI office, Spinelli determined to prove that the Mayor is innocent. Maxie kisses him and obviously wants to make love, but Spinelli resists, stating that he can't do it.
Michael is the Goldilocks of Port Charles - Yet Another Bed
Jason arrives at Carly's, wondering angrily how she could have gone into the woods to search for Morgan and not called him. Carly responds that she had no idea that she was going to meet a man with a gun and that there was escalating mob violence. Now that she knows, she insists that Jason talk Michael into returning to her home. Jason admits that he can't - Michael now categorizes him as one of "them," a hypocrite, because Jason won't teach him the business. If Carly were going to have a stroke, it would be now. Michael, then, will have to live with the Quartermaines. At first, Jason is shocked, never dreaming that when she mentioned it earlier, that she was serious. But in the end, he agrees. Her options are limited.
Carly visits the Quartermaines and puts up with Tracy's barbs as she tells Edward and Monica that she wants Michael with them, under certain conditions: she has full access to Michael at all times; and that there is no bashing of Sonny, her, or Jason. Tracy thinks Carly is now trying to lay claim to the Q money, and Edward is excited. Monica is quietly pleased. After Carly leaves, Jason arrives to speak with Monica alone. Jason warns Monica that Michael is a handful, and Monica smiles, remembering what Jason was like after his accident. This is her chance to do things right and to get to know her grandsom. Edward returns, suggesting that Jason set an example and move in as well. Hah.
Johnny gets into Sonny's house, which is easy, and hearing Sonny and Michael in the middle of a fight, goes to Claudia's room to help Dominic get out of there. He tells Dominic that he should leave Port Charles, but it's obvious that Dominic has no intention of doing any such thing. After Sonny's, Johnny visits Olivia for a very hot, sexy tryst.
Claudia demands to know who the man is in her room. Kristina doesn't know and pleads with Claudia not to tell her mother or father that she's in the house. Claudia agrees after pretending reluctance. She has her own secrets to keep.
Michael and Sonny go at it, with Sonny screaming that Michael will never, ever learn the business. Sonny didn't have his choices; now Michael does. Michael doesn't want those choices; he wants to be a mobster. Sonny is adamant that Michael has his whole life ahead of him and can do whatever he wants. "No," Michael answers. "I can do whatever you want," and walks away. Once Claudia returns downstairs, Sonny relates his conversation Michael. She suggests that Sonny show his son how much he loves him by giving him something. Oh, that's a good idea. So Sonny buys Michael a gorgeous new car, when the kid doesn't have his license yet. Michael loves it and perks up immediately.
