Skye attempts to help Emily, Carly speaks with Alcazar, Jason and Reese go after the sniper, Jax lets Rachel know that he's on to her; Emily yells at Luke and so does Lucky.
Luke and Skye stand at reception, hoping for a chance to speak with Faith. Emily is quite cold toward Luke and refuses to sneak him in. Skye believes Faith might talk to Luke. "Why don't you let Sonny and Carly worry about their son, and you worry about yours?" Emily suggests to Luke. "You took a chance that might have killed him." "You are grossly misinformed," Luke declares. "Medically, legally, and in being willing to keep him tied to tubes." "You need to take him through the reasons for your decision," Emily says. "Let him know that his dad still loves him. It's been years since you've done anything but judge, criticize, and push Lucky away." "Don't lecture me," Luke warns her. "Don't you think it's time you started acting like Lucky mattered to you?" she demands. "Oh, shut up," he implores her. "He's coming to Windermere with me," Emily continues, "and you had better be his first visitor. It's the least he deserves." She walks away, as Luke yells after her, "He deserves a lot more than to be in that mausoleum with a humorless little package like you!" Elizabeth looks at him. "Do you feel better now?" she asks.
Lucky wheels over to see Elizabeth later. He knows something's wrong. "Your father made me upset," she says, telling him what happened. "Can't he see how fragile Emily is?" she fumes. "I wanted to tell him so badly to back off, that Emily was raped." Skye stands nearby and hears what is said. She invites Emily out to dinner, but Emily begs off because of work. Skye tries another approach. "I know there's a lot going on, but you need to take care of yourself." Emily thanks her for the concern and promises to call if she needs help. Skye confesses to Elizabeth that she now knows why she and Emily were arguing outside Lucky's room the day she saw them. "You wanted her to get help, and Emily didn't want to hear it." "I can't discuss it," Elizabeth says. "I know the truth," Skye tells her. "Emily doesn't want anyone to know," Elizabeth says. "Emily doesn't even know Lucky has figured it out." Skye becomes very upset.
Luke approaches his son, who is wheeling around the floor. "Here you are - you wanted to talk to me?" he asks. "Stay away from Emily," Lucky orders him. Luke shrugs. "Okay." "Emily saved me," Lucky says. "Wonderful," Luke says. "Move in with her. When life is dull, you can console yourselves with righteous indignation and Bible study." "Emily needs me," Lucky insists. "I don't suppose that's a concept you can understand." "It's your life to waste," Luke tells him. Lucky scoffs, "While you waste yours on what? A war with Helena?" "You know," Luke says, "they told me you could end up a vegetable. Today you're making as much sense as a remedial rutabaga." Lucky can't get past his own anger over the life support. "You couldn't be more wrong," Luke says. "No," Lucky says. "You couldn't."
"On the videotape, you stepped away from Faith just before she was shot," Reese informs Alcazar as she handcuffs him. "You were clearing a sight line for the shooter. You were working with Faith from the beginning, and she was just about to give you up. You know where Michael is being held - tell me now, and we can make a deal." "You want someone to take a fall," Alcazar accuses her, "and it is not going to be me." Ric arrives, demanding to know where Michael is. "If I knew," Alcazar states, "I would already have brought him home." "He was just waiting for the perfect moment," Reese suggests. "When Carly had lost all hope. How did you know Royo and Peavey were in contact before the children were even taken? You set this whole thing up to ruin Sonny and have Carly to yourself." Ric escorts Alcazar from the courtroom.
Sonny stands over Faith's bed as she flatlines. "Don't let her die!" Sonny begs as Tony pulls him out of the way. "She knows where my son is." But Sonny exits the room with the news that Faith is dead. Officer Murphy announces that Alcazar has been arrested as Faith's accomplice. Courtney is despondent over the entire situation, and wonders how long they're supposed to hope for Michael's return. Carly, Jason, and Sonny meet Ric and Reese at PCPD. "I can get Alcazar to talk," Carly says. "Do you believe this?" Alcazar asks her when Carly enters the interrogation room.
