Claudia comes downstairs. Johnny is there, wanting to know why she wasn't on top of the world at the party. She assures him that she was, but he assures her that he knows that she wasn't. She was too nervous. Claudia admits that Ric knows about Michael's shooting and is going to blackmail her. What she has to do for him, she doesn't know yet.
To Johnny, this spells disaster for his sister. He cautions her to get out of the situation immediately. This information in Ric's hands is dynamite. Claudia refuses. When Ric arrives, he gives her the lowdown - she's going to give him information that he can feed the Feds. If she doesn't, Sonny gets the DVD. We all know how Sonny feels about his women betraying him; and we can guess how he'd feel about one of them shooting his child. Claudia's got a problem.
Ric is busy making the rounds now that he has some ammunition. He drops in on Jason and announces that they're partners. Now, Jason's no idiot. He knows the only reason Ric can be doing this is because he's got something on someone. Ric intimates that Sonny will be watching Jason - he was number 1 for a time, and now he's back to second in command. Ric's next visit is to the ubiquitous Agent Rayner. He offers to be a spy for the bureau and get stuff on Sonny, with one caveat: when Ric takes over, Rayner has to look the other way.
Sam meets Spinelli at Kelly's. He wants to go into the PI business with her, pointing out what a great team they would make. Sam looks unsure. Winifred arrives with a sad announcement. She's been forced to resign from the FBI because she's a security risk. Spinelli is thrilled. Now all three of them can join Sam in her business. Spinelli offers to hurry Sam's license by hacking into Rayner's computer. Sam hesitates big time.
Patrick doesn't seem to have much to say to Robin - you can cut the tension in that place with a knife. Robin says that Lainey is coming over. This is her first step to get help for her post-partum depression. Patrick remains angry because of Brad, but he doesn't say anything. He complains to Matt and Elizabeth that he feels like a fool and is tempted to just pull a Robin and leave.
Lainey comes to see Robin as planned, believing that they are going to lunch. Robin instead confesses that she needs help. When Lainey tries to find out what's wrong, Robin takes off. This is getting to be a pattern.
Robin walks around town, eventually running into Jason on the waterfront. She sobs in his arms and pours her heart out to him. She feels like a failure, her baby hates her, all about running away - again, no Brad. Jason listens and comforts her. He asks her what she wants from her life. Robin only knows she wants to recover. But she doesn't know how.
Edward walks into the Haunted Star looking for Tracy. He decides to leave her a note, since Ethan hasn't seen her. Ethan refuses to take money to deliver the note to Tracy, which impresses Edward. Luke arrives while Edward is there. He says he hasn't seen Tracy all day. Then he sees that Ethan stole Edward's wallet, and starts hand-signaling him to return it. Edward leaves, wallet-less, and Tracy enters. Luke is screaming at Ethan that Edward is his father-in-law. Tracy, however, thinks it's commendable and wonders if Ethan can steal Edward's laptop - she needs to have access to his stock holdings. She offers Ethan a cut. Luke tells Ethan after Tracy leaves that she was kidding. She would double-cross him anyway. Instead of leaving, Tracy stuck around to hear what's being said.
Lucky sees Nikolas on the waterfront, and it's not a friendly meeting. Nikolas is angry that Lucky is spending time with Rebecca. Lucky states that Rebecca is not Emily, and too bad if he doesn't like them spending time together. Rebecca shows up and stands behind them, listening, until Elizabeth comes along and announces that they have an audience. Nikolas sees Rebecca at the hospital later. She tells him that there isn't anything going on between her and Lucky, so the brothers shouldn't be fighting. Nikolas relaxes a little. Their conversation is cut short when it's time for Rebecca's mammogram. Hmm....shades of Emily again!
