When Luke comes back from vacation, the show’s old-timers will recognize the person he brings to Port Charles with him – Robert Scorpio! Yes, Tristan Rogers is returning for a six-week story arc, but hopefully, like Rick Springfield’s four episodes, it will last longer.
Fans have been pining for the former OSB agent’s return since he left in 1982, after a 12-year run that was supposed to be a contract for only a few weeks. (He made a brief appearance in 1995 in connection with his daughter, Robin. Robin's "late" parents come to her when she finds out she is HIV positive.)
Robert Scorpio was a big part of General Hospital when it was at its high point, right after the Luke and Laura “Love on the Run.” Luke and Robert fought the Cassadines in the “Ice Princess” storyline that followed, and Robert became a fixture on GH. Mac is his brother; Robin is his daughter, and her mother is Anna Devane.
