Patrick serves Robin with court papers - he wants to be involved in his child's life. Elizabeth suggests quietly that the two of them don't want to end up in court, but Robin is adamant. She continues to insist that in spite of what Patrick claims, he does not want to be a father. Anna shows up at that moment and knocks Patrick to the ground. After listening to what he has to say for a few minutes, she has a private talk with him. Meanwhile, Robin is surprised to realize that Elizabeth does not support her decision.
Anna finds Patrick to be sincere and believes that Robin is acting this way because she and Robert had a bad marriage. Robert was not around much; Anna wonders if Robin thinks a father is optional. Patrick comments that he grew up without his dad being around and wants to create a different reality for his own child. She asks if he would feel this way if Robin was pregnant from a sperm bank? He answers that he doesn't know, "but that's not what happened." "Well, that's honest," Anna says. She informs Robin that if the case goes to court, she will testify - for Patrick. Jerry has a gun to Johnny's head, warning Anthony that Johnny -- and the rest of them -- would be killed if any harm came to Alexis' daughter. "It was an empty threat," Anthony assures him. He merely wanted Alexis to release Johnny from jail. Jerry takes Johnny hostage, promising to release him as soon as he gets away. When Nikolas hears about Anthony's threat, he offers Alexis the London apartment. She informs him that Jerry promised to take care of the situation. Nikolas' blood runs cold. He's seen what Jerry is capable of, and he's nervous about the result. "If anything like this happens again," he begs his aunt, "please come to me first." At the hospital, he sees Claudia and gives her fair warning - he will go to the police and tell them she is responsible for Michael's shooting if any harm comes to Alexis or her daughter.
Ric appears in Alexis' office to convince her that Anthony was not serious about his threat. Furious, Alexis yells at him that it's his fault for having Anthony released from prison. Ric is afraid of a mob war if Anthony is pushed and if Sonny finds out about the threat.
Outside of the hotel, Jerry releases Johnny, who promptly attacks Jerry and gets his gun. Claudia rushes in and attempts to talk Johnny out of shooting Jerry. Jerry informs Claudia that he has an affidavit stating her connection with Ian Devlin and Michael's shooting which will come to light should anything happen to him. Johnny wants to call his bluff, but in the end, he doesn't do it. Sonny and Jax run into one another at Crimson, and Sonny suggests that Jax have a paternity test if Carly is pregnant. "Why would I need one?" he asks, but Kate enters, interrupting them. Jax leaves. Sonny and Kate discuss honesty in a relationship - Sonny seems to be on the verge of telling her what happened with Carly. Dr. Hunter walks into Spinelli's room while Maxie is there; Hunter thinks they were having sex, and Maxie plays along, to Spinelli's anguish. The doctor leaves, only to find both Lulu and Maxie there on his return. He thinks Spinelli must be a real swinger. Later, when the women have left, Hunter talks to Spinelli about taking a personality test and some other tests. He believes the young man has a condition he has seen before. Spinelli refuses. Carly wants Jason with her while she takes a pregnancy test, and she wants him to tell Sonny that the child is his should she be pregnant. She confesses what happened in the limousine. Jason informs her that he won't lie and becomes furious when he learns Carly already told Sonny that Jason was the father. At this point, however, she still doesn't know if she's pregnant, and Jason pushes her to take the test. She does, but she can't look at the results. Jason looks for her - she's not pregnant. Jason insists to Carly that she keep him out of her marital and extramarital problems. She is no sooner gone than Sonny arrives. "Are you sleeping with Carly?" he asks. Back home, Jax greets Carly when she returns. He gets right to the point, asking, "Did you not want to take a pregnancy test because there is a chance that Sonny could be the father?"
