WEDDING PLANNERS FROM HELL

Bobbie comes clean to Carly, Emily and Nikolas are railroaded into an engagement party they didn't want, Lucky learns the truth, Morgan becomes ill; it's the last day of the bet for Jax and Courtney.

Emily stares at drawing of her wedding gown but hides it from Nikolas. They laugh about the idea of a Tracy-Helena planned wedding. Elizabeth and Lucky arrive early for the engagement party, about which Nikolas and Emily know nothing. But they guess whose idea it was. "Why would they give you a party?" Elizabeth asks. "They want us to forget that they're framing us for Mary's murder," Nikolas assumes. Lucky suggests that they go over the evening Mary died again, hoping something will jump out at them. Elizabeth is shocked to learn that Emily believes she subconsciously switched medications. "Impossible," Elizabeth reassures her. "It took thought and experience." Nikolas is certain that Nurse Harris was never there and took a bribe. A few minutes later, Elizabeth reports that Lucky is gone. She's afraid he went to accuse Helena and Tracy. Monica and Ned arrive, followed by Ric and Alexis. "Ric is an interesting choice for a date," Nikolas comments. "Out of respect for my aunt, I won't ask you to leave, but stay away from Emily and me." The thought of Helena and Tracy working together terrifies Ned. Emily agrees with him, but Nikolas doesn't want to stop the party. His idea is to lull Tracy and Helena into a false sense of security and give Lucky time to investigate. Alexis interrupts. "There's a reason I brought Ric," she says. "There's a plan, and you need to trust me." Ric approaches Elizabeth, attempting to bring up his overheard conversation with Alexis. "Our marriage is over," Elizabeth agrees. "But would you be pursuing a future with Alexis if she didn't have a past with Sonny?" Nikolas toasts Emily. As Tracy and Helena enter, he toasts them as well.

Nurse Harris confesses to the wedding planners a fear that she can't keep up with her lies. Perhaps she will mix Emily and Elizabeth up and accuse the wrong person. "You'll keep them straight; you have no choice," Helena tells her. Tracy slaps more money in her hand. Helena slaps her with a serious threat. Nurse Harris leaves. "She's too jumpy," Tracy says. "If the police put pressure on her, she could cave. One loose end, though. Emily didn't kill Mary. It was you, wasn't it?" Helena gives her a look. "You seem to be under the impression that you know me well. That's a mistake. I had no use for Mary Bishop...She was even more unsuitable than Emily. I could have had her killed. But I didn't. Can you say the same?" "I didn't know her," Tracy says, "and I don't care who Nikolas sleeps with. I had no motive." "As you said, someone did kill her," Helena agrees. "But that someone is not likely to come forward to save Emily."

Nurse Harris makes a run for the mailbox, but Lucky stops her. He suspects cash in that fat envelope, though she claims it's filled with photos. "Of dead presidents?" he asks. "Tell me who paid you." He speaks of co-conspiracy and obstruction of justice...Helena watches the encounter with concern.

Alexis points out the lovebirds to Ric. Does he think they could kill? Ric admits he would be happy for anything that points him in another direction. Ned accuses his mother of trying to impress Felicia by throwing the party, adding, "Unless this is more sinister than it appears." Just then, Lucky rushes in and calls everyone to attention. "I can prove Helena and Tracy framed Emily for murder," he announces, repeating what Nurse Harris told him. Ned turns to his mother. "Framing Emily? There's no coming back from this. Why?" "For the money," Monica pipes up, "to make sure Emily is out of the running." Helena is incensed at being accused with no proof. "You tried to set us up, and instead you set us free," Nikolas says to Helena. "Thank you. Now get out." "Not until I'm finished," Helena declares. "Defy my wishes. Marry her. My curse is upon you, Nikolas and Emily. Your joy will bring nothing but pain and sorrow to you and yours for as long as you both shall live." Lightning kills the power for a moment. Ric compliments Lucky on his work and asks him to bring Nurse Harris in for a statement. Emily is shaken by the curse. Maybe it was the lightning. At that moment, a buffet table fire attacks the drawing of Emily's dress. Oh-oh.

Steven sits with Durant at Kelly's, asking why his old boss still in Port Charles. "I'm not leaving until Sonny Corinthos is behind bars," he says. "Sonny and Carly suspect you," Steven argues. "Never underestimate me," Durant says. "There are many inroads to both Carly and Sonny. It's all about picking the right one."
