In Rome, Jason learns from Suzanne that security escorted Brenda to a Cartullo meeting. Jason looks disgusted: Cartullo's security knows about keeping the paparazzi back, period. Suzanne shows Jason his photo with Brenda on a magazine cover. She explains how much this helps the cause of ASEC with someone like Brenda drawing attention to the plight of exploited children throughout the world. This is all new to Jason - a Brenda that thinks of something besides herself and all this publicity that involves him!
As Jason is inquiring about how Interpol is helping Brenda (which they're not since they're more interested in catching The Balkan), there's a knock at the door. It's Murphy Sinclair. Suzanne slips away. Murphy asks what's going on between Jason, the ex-husband, and his ex-fiancee. Jason states that he is attempting to keep Brenda safe. They're not a couple; they never were. Murphy informs Jason that Brenda is still thinking about someone from her past, and that's why their engagement ended. Jason assures Murphy that he's not the man. Murphy doubts this, but he hopes that Jason appreciates getting a second chance with Brenda. Hah! Jason never wanted a first chance with her!
In Port Charles, Jax has the Jason/Brenda photo up on his computer when Carly enters. Jax walks over to her, and she tells him that it was wonderful to wake up with him. They kiss, happy to be reconciled. As Carly gets to the door, she turns and smiles. She was crazy to ever let him go.
Moments later, Olivia enters and learns that Jax and Carly are back together. She's thrilled, and hearing about the reconciliation makes her think about her and ohnny. Jax talks about compromise and how important it is. Olivia takes the point.
Spinelli, too, is looking at the Jason-Brenda photo on his computer but slams down the cover when Sam walks into the penthouse. Sam wonders what he's investigating. Spinelli warns her that it's too risky for her to see. She keeps on him until finally, he shows her the photo. Sam studies it carefully as Spinelli tsk-tsks at how unhappy it must make her. Sam holds up the computer and invites Spinelli to take the stars away from his eyes and take a good look. Jason is miserable.
Carly then stops by Jason's to find out when he's coming home. Spinelli doesn't know but he won't be back until he's finished helping her. Carly is annoyed as Spinelli remarks that Brenda is the target of a vicious man, which Carly blows off. Spinelli shows her the photo. Carly makes a face.
Sam goes to Jax's office at his request. He shows Sam THE PHOTO. Sam acknowledges that she is aware of it. Jax asks why Jason is in Rome with Brenda. Sam tells him what she knows; Jax wonders if Sonny's trip to Rome had anything to do with Brenda's problems, though looking at her, it's difficult to believe she's in trouble. A smile crosses Sam's face. Why does he care? Jax fumbles. Well, it just seems like this trip of Jason's came up suddenly. Sam remarks that he's upset because he wasn't the one called to help Brenda. Carly enters as Sam says this, and insists her take is incorrect. Jax doesn't care about Brenda. Right, honey?
Ethan visits Johnny, who is finishing his recovery at home. Ethan's interested in why Johnny accepted a truce with Sonny. Johnny replies that there was video evidence that he was armed. Dante dropped the charges in exchange for the truce. While the two men talk, Claire arrives to speak with Johnny. She's not sure she shouldn't bring him up on charges. Ethan takes off, and Johnny warns Claire to be careful. He has witnesses that Sonny tried to kill him previously. She wouldn't want that, would she, now that her career is just about over? Claire warns him that she can re-open this case at any time. Johnny looks at Claire. She reminds him of his sister. Once Sonny is through with her, Claire will wind up thrown away as well.
Johnny's place is like Grand Central. No sooner has Claire departed than a nervous Olivia appears. She declares that she and Johnny belong together. Johnny takes Olivia into his arms. He has never stopped loving her.

Robin is at Mac's house, trying to take her HIV meds, but she's nauseous. Patrick comes to check on her. Robin is a little abrupt but apologizes. She's having stomach problems, plus she's constantly being interrupted when she tries to take her meds. Patrick suggests that she's stressed out. Well, being cheated on is stressful, Robin agrees.
When Mac comes home, he looks at Robin's meds in amazement. So many? No, Robin says, some of them are supplements. They discuss Lisa. Mac fears that the situation will bring Patrick and Robin back together. Robin asks her uncle why she shouldn't work on saving her marriage. Mac thinks Robin deserves better. So, in fact, does Matt, who arrives to tell Robin what he heard. Robin is moved by how much Matt cares. She forces down her meds and then tells Matt the entire story. Matt is worried. If Lisa is that crazy, Patrick could be in danger.
When Patrick meets Lisa at Jake's, Lisa announces that they must slow down. After all, he's not formally separated from Robin yet so she really can't date him. (No, but she could sleep with him.) Maybe they should just keep things professional until Patrick takes the necessary legal steps.
