Where is My Australian Golden Boy?
It's fair to say that I feel a tad proprietary when it comes to General Hospital's Ingo Rademacher. After all, whose jaw was it on the floor the first time he smiled at Brenda? Who called ABC Daytime hotline for the first time in her life demanding more Jax? Who talked her online editor into letting her do a big story on him? Who went to Cancun with his fan club and then got a major soap magazine to let her write a story about that? Who sent his astrology chart to his mother? Yours truly!
So I think I can ask - Ingo, where are you?
Who is this very serious man with brown hair and not much of it who never smiles anymore? Where, oh where, is that brilliant smile, the thick, blonde hair that showcased those incredible eyes? These were my shallow thoughts as I watched him on the show yesterday. KDMask on another site said it best: "Dear Ingo: Please grow your hair back and please find the lemon juice/sun in or highlight lady. Thank you." So I'm not alone.
Granted that Rademacher is not 25 anymore. Granted that I have just had a birthday, and if he is now 37, it means - well, never mind what it means. However, does becoming a father and being in your thirties mean that you have to nearly shave your head and stay out of the sun? I thought he had a place in Hawaii! Ingo, say it's not over! Get on that surfboard and catch a few waves - and rays. You're making me feel like Grandma Moses.

Wow! I was thinking the same thing! He is such a beautiful man, but looks sad these days. His longer blonde hair hilighted those gorgeous blue eyes.

Here, here! I have felt this was for a long, long time. Ever since he cut all that beautiful hair years ago for that bad Ceasar haircut. It didn’t look good on him and I heard tons of people complaining about it. He doesn’t seem to care what his fans think, since his hairstyles have been consistently bad since then.
I agree about the smiling. It’s hard to find. I think Carly is bringing him down. I miss the gorgeous, fun corporate raider we all knew and loved?!
