Scott Reeves Joins Cast of 'GH'

Thursday October 22, 2009

Steven Lars Webber, the child Heather Webber sold and who was known for a time as P.J., is returning to Port Charles. He's now being played by soap star Scott Reeves (ex-Ryan McNeil, Young and the Restless).

Steven Lars, now a doctor, was last on General Hospital in 2004, portrayed by Shaun Benson. The character is Elizabeth's half-brother, so expect to see him in the Elizabeth-Lucky orbit and also interacting with hospital personnel.

Reeves, 43, is a great casting coup for General Hospital. He is a two-time Daytime Emmy nominee who, with his wife, Melissa Reeves (Jennifer, Days of our Lives) has engendered a lot of publicity over the years. He is also a very close friend of Steve Burton's - Reeves has said they're like brothers.

Steven Lars will appear on GH in December. The last time he was in town, he dated Carly! It will be interesting to see the identity of his next love interest.

It will be great to see Scott again on TV. I always liked him on Y&R. I am fan of his wife Melissa too.
I read on other sites that it is a recurring role and Steven is the new COS at GH. My question is what about Monica? Is Lesile C. leaving GH, I thought she just signed for another year?

I think the should pair him up with Patrick’s ex Lisa or maybe Kelly Lee. Just an idea. He could date Carly again, but that would look kind of weird since Scott isn’t very tall, I think Steve Burton is taller than him. LOL

If Steven is Liz’s half brother doesn’t that make the late Dr. Steve Hardy his grandfather? If true talking about some major shoes to fill. He is steping in some big shoes to fill, not only his grandfather’s but also Alan’s too.

What ever happens I wish him the best with this role.

He is too old to play steven lars. Heather is only about 54 years old and he is 43. General Hospital needs to start casting younger actors for these roles such as Steven Lars or Dante. But other than that I like him.

Scott would not be too old to play Steven Webber. Steven was born around 1969 I know I was watching the storyline when Luke And Laura got together. So Ryan is close to Steven age. I would very much like them to bring Laura back. I want Laura and Luke together again. I like Tracy but Luke belong with Laura.

Steven webber was born in the 70’s. Heather was not introduced until the 70’s when Cher’s sister played the role.

Well, Lisa LoCicero was 9 years old when Dominic Zamprogna was born.

Real age doesn’t factor into soaps – I guess.

STILL NO MINORITY ACTORS, THIS IS SO SAD, SHAME ON YOU GH. IT IS PITIFUL THAT ONLY WHITE PEOPLE LIVE IN PORT CHARLES WITH MEANINGFUL LIVES. THERE IS ONLY ONE NURSE THAT YOU SEE EVERY BLUE MOON, ONE SECURITY PERSON THAT IS LOST IN THE HOSPITAL AND ONE DOCTOR WHO HAS DONE A SESSION OF MARRIAGE COUNSELING. ONE BAR TENDER THAT CAN SING AND DISAPPEARS. ALL OF THESE PEOPLE ARE AFRICAN AMERICANS WITH NO LIVES ON THAT SHOW,THIS IS PATHETIC. NO WONDER THE RATINGS ARE THE PITS!!
