Tracy enters the Haunted Star and asks Luke where Ethan is, and Luke doesn't know. Ethan never showed up for work. He tells Tracy that when he mentioned the DNA test, he saw the angry side of Ethan. Tracy is convinced this is all part of a big scam. Luke agrees, but the scam was against Ethan by Holly - she wanted Luke to know about Ethan and sent him to Port Charles.
At the Crimson office, Lulu and Maxie both look gorgeous - Lulu has her hair up and a beautiful dress, and Maxie is glamorous in red. Ethan shows up to bid his farewell to Lulu, saying he's headed back to Australia. Kate flies in and wants to know if some dresses have been sent back to Milan, and you can tell by Maxie's face that uh, no, she forgot. Lulu hands Kate the confirmation of the shipment, saying that Maxie didn't remember that she'd done it. Maxie doesn't know why Lulu is being nice to her. Lulu suggests that they forget it and move on. She continues by saying that she and Johnny always had the same problems, and eventually, they would have broken up. Enter Johnny. Maxie explains that he was summoned by Kate for a tux fitting. Lulu acts as if she doesn't have a problem with it. In fact, she hands Maxie a graphic novel to give to Spinelli.
Elizabeth is not having a good day, but when she sees Lucky coming with a latte, she cheers up - until he walks by her and gives it to Rebecca. Apparently the new color scheme for scrubs at GH is prison orange - Rebecca looks like she's about to go behind bars. Nikolas comes along - he has a meeting with Patrick which has come along - and he and Elizabeth watch the two of them laughing and talking. They don't like it. For someone who's supposed to be working, Rebecca sure takes a lot of time off. Nikolas finds her on the docks later, and they have a little spat. When she returns, she throws a radiology report at Elizabeth, who tells her off for being not only rude but casual about a late report. Rebecca says that Elizabeth has a problem because she's seeing Lucky, tough noogies. Nikolas walks over to Elizabeth and orders her to smile. Then he kisses her, long and hard, for Lucky and Rebecca to see.
Patrick is home taking care of Emma, and he's on the phone with Epiphany saying he's going to be late. Matt arrives with his suitcase - he's moving in to help. He seems determined, so Patrick allows it. It's Mercedes' day off, and his sitter can't be there until 1 o'clock. Patrick leaves for a while, and when he gets back, Matt is over his head, asking for strained carrots and batteries. The place is a mess. Patrick takes Emma and suggests that Matt clean the house. Elizabeth stops by on her break and helps these two bumblers out. Matt takes Emma for a walk, with enough supplies for a five-day camping trip. Once he's gone, Patrick confesses to Elizabeth that he misses Robin and feels guilty. Elizabeth reassures him that he did everything that he could.
Sonny beards the lion in his den by going to the MetroCourt to speak with Jax. He can't reach Carly. Jax informs him that Carly is in South Carolina, seeking treatment for her ZBT. He strongly advises Jax to encourage Carly to terminate her pregnancy. Olivia is standing with Jax, who is unhappy - understatement - that Sonny is interfering with an issue that is between Jax and Carly. In fact, he punches Sonny, and Sonny punches him back. Olivia keeps trying to mediate, but no one is listening. Jax demands that Sonny leave the hotel and not come back, or he'll beat him up and call the police.
Meanwhile, Johnny barges into Sonny's and screams at Claudia. He heard from Fredo Genovese that Claudia ordered a hit on Jerry that hurt Jason instead. And he wants a bonus. He must work for a corporation that's gone under. Johnny thinks Sonny is going to find out, but Claudia says he's too preoccupied with Michael and her pregnancy. That sets Johnny off again; he's furious that she's pregnant. She calls Fredo and asks him why, since he failed at his job, he thinks he deserves a bonus. I'm sure he pointed to some government bailout. Anyway, she orders him to keep his mouth shut.
Sonny gets home, and Claudia notices immediately that he's been in a fight. Sonny complains about Jax and how Carly is in danger. She sits across from him on the hassock and promises to take care of Morgan and Michael if anything happens to Carly. Sonny gives her a long look, and then he whispers, "Don't ever talk to me about Carly dying again." I love how Claudia thinks she can handle him. She's lucky that Sonny didn't kill her that minute.
Ethan and Lucky come face to face on the pier, and he informs Lucky that he's headed out of the country. He has some advice for Lucky: Don't try so hard with Luke, just be grateful he's in your life.
When Luke learns that Ethan is splitting Port Charles, he goes to the airport to convince him to stay. He says that he can't let Ethan leave without finding out if he and Ethan are father and son.
