Carly says that she could not have turned to him in her sorrow because she blamed him. Sonny says that he blamed himself. "We're all to blame," Carly says. "We need to find a way to forgive each other." She really wants Jason and Sonny to reconcile, but it's not looking good.

Carly drops her action plan for the benefit in Michael's name on the floor, and as she and Sonny both lean over to retrieve it, Sonny finds one of Jerry's DVDs. He think it's a film that was left out and puts it in the breakfront. He pledges to double Jax's contribution to Michael's fund, which is to be dedicated to child brain trauma, and he and Carly part on a very good note.

Maxie asks Sam what she should do about Winifred. Sam wonders if it's just jealousy. Maxie always seems put off by this, claiming that Spinelli is her best friend, and this geek is using him. She decides to seduce him, using her best assets, computer skills not being among them. Sam doesn't think it's a good idea. Maxie asks Sam to go to Jason about Winifred - Spinelli will listen to Jason. Sam says okay, but she's not happy about it.

Spinelli arranges to meet Winifred on the pier. He cautions her that they can only be friends, which Winifred interprets as total rejection. He explains that he loves Maximista but he likes being friends with the Priestess and talking computers with her. She's obviously hurt. Maxie calls his cell and says she needs to see him.

Elizabeth tells Lucky to leave and go to Sam, but Lucky says no. He finally confides in Elizabeth that Sam is up to something that she's not telling him. Elizabeth is concerned; she cautions Lucky to take any doubts he may have seriously. His 12-step program dictates that he needs to be totally honest with himself.

Alexis informs Nadine that she made a phone call, and that Nadine will be speaking to a senate subcommittee in six hours. Nadine panics, but Nikolas promises to be with her. Alexis explains that all she has to do is be completely honest, and the fact that she's willing to forego all of that money will resonate with the senators. Nikolas offers to buy her a suit in order to testify. She balks; Alexis thinks it's a good idea. Nadine runs off to tell Epiphany that she can't do her shift. Gee, with six hours to get a new suit, think about what she's going to say, and travel to Washington, wouldn't you think she'd just CALL Epiphany?

Well, the reason she left is to give Alexis a chance to ask Nikolas what's going on between the two of them. Nikolas talks about how Nadine helped him when he had his tumor and how special she is. Alexis observes that he's not in love with Nadine and should be honest with her - because Nadine is obviously in love with him, and her feelings aren't going to be returned. Nikolas says he doesn't think he can ever love anyone but Emily.

Winifred protests that Spinelli is sweet and harmless and doesn't even realize what he's doing is so wrong. Rayner dismisses her concerns, saying Spinelli is a means to an end. He'll allow the FBI to land "the biggest get of all."

Diane and Alexis are at this moment pow-wowing about said divorce. Both realize that it's going to be a bloodbath. Diane suggests that they'd be better off attempting to reconcile the two. Alexis isn't sure it will work.
