Alexis goes to Karpov. She informs him that she has no way of proving he shot Kate, but she can get him for drug trafficking. So my question is, if she can get him on drug trafficking, why doesn't she? One wonders if she will even get the chance because Karpov's had it with her. He tells Jerry to get rid of her.
Robin visits Kate at GH; Robin knows Sonny wants revenge, and she believes that only Kate can talk him out of it. Kate hears her out and then asks Robin that if the father of her child was a dangerous man, would she tell that man?
Patrick overhears this and confesses to Robin at the nurse's station. She's fine with him overhearing the conversation, but Patrick wants to know, what would she do? It's a moot point, so Robin brings up the subject of the wedding. They both agree to marry before the baby's birth. Ultimately, they choose the date of October 29. They also decide that, rather than running off and eloping, they will have a wedding. Robin wants a Catholic wedding to conform with what her grandmother had wanted for her, and she has people she wants to invite. Amazing - the Catholic religion is letting a pregnant woman get married in the church?
Patrick heads over to Jake's. Jake's has a full house. Claudia has rented a room there for later and at the moment is playing pool with Ric. Patrick orders a couple of drinks. Coleman wonders if being engaged is getting to Patrick, but of course, it isn't. It's what he knows about Sonny's secret child that's bothering him. Olivia, evidently sensing that Jake's has more of the Bensonhurst atmosphere, enters and orders a drink. Claudia introduces herself, and it's evident right away that these two aren't going to hit it off. Olivia seems affronted when Claudia inquires after Sonny. Before they can really come to blows, Ric and Claudia head upstairs.
At Crimson, Maxie and Spinelli manage to hide from the Russians who are trashing the office. When the men leave, they find a note saying "Next time, Kate Howard Dies." Maxie and Spinelli go to find Jason.
Things at Jason's office are a bit strange. Carly drops by and is surprised at what she sees. Max introduces Carly as his girlfriend. Carly plays along. Diane is furious. Maximus is most impressed with Max's taste and wants to take Carly out himself. Boy, I don't want to be Max when Diane gets him alone.
When Spinelli and Maxie arrive, they're shocked to see Jason in a suit giving out drinks and Max sitting at the desk. Maxie catches on and orders Jason to get her a coffee, an Italian fashion magazine and some pastries, and she wants an orange soda for Spinelli, the kid cringing in the corner. Spinelli gives Max the note from the Russians. Maximus disputes the note as being from Karpov; he knows who Karpov is and doesn't believe that Karpov would be so obvious.
