Preparations Begin for Rebecca Moving Into Windemere
Thrilled that Rebecca is moving in, Nikolas wants Windemere redecorated for her. Elizabeth shows up and Nikolas, his back to her, thinks she's Rebecca and wants to kiss her. "Uh, that got us in trouble once before," Elizabeth teases him. Elizabeth goes on to say that since the night they kissed in public, things have been different! She's with Lucky, and he's fully entrenched with Rebecca. Rather than make a fuss about Rebecca moving in, Elizabeth plays it smart and offers to help Nikolas with the re-decorating project.
Lulu arrives and invites both of them to karaoke night at Jake's, saying that it's a good idea for the family get together. Nikolas declines because it's Rebecca's first move-in night.
Ethan enters Rebecca's room and is surprised to see that she's packing. She then announces that she's moving into Windemere. "I don't think so," Ethan responds. Rebecca gives him a reasonable, if suspect, excuse. If she moves in with Nikolas, she's all that much closer to the goal - his money. She and Ethan kiss - she's obviously trying to convince him, but it doesn't look like it's working. He demands more tangible proof - like some money that Nikolas gives her - or he'll be talking to Prince Cassadine. Rebecca sort of says okay, but refuses money from Nikolas when he offers it. She's playing Ethan, and sooner or later, it's going to backfire.
A Karaoke Mishap
Maxie walks into Jason's penthouse as Spinelli is practicing. To her amazement, he's improved. The lyrics, set to "La Donna 'e Mobile" from Rigoletto aren't bad either. After she leaves, however, Spinelli confesses his guilt over having help - the pitch-correcting software. He asks Jason if he should tell Maxie the truth. It seems to Jason that Maxie loves Spinelli and that he should trust his fair maiden to continue loving him, voice or no voice. Once he gets to Jake's, Spinelli sees Maxie and decides to err on the side of truth. Before he can blurt it out, however, the free pitcher of beer Coleman gave them becomes a receptacle for Spinelli's pitch-correcting microphone when he accidentally drops it in. Good work, Spin.
Coleman beams as Jake's fills up for the first karaoke night. Ethan, invited by Lulu, turns up, but he looks unhappy and uncomfortable. He starts in on the booze right away. Lucky gives him a dirty look; Lulu asks the two of them to try to get along, at least for the evening.
Maxie Gives Advice to Matt
Matt Hunter requests a case file from Epiphany, only to learn that he's off the case. In fact, he's off of all cases until the malpractice suit is over. He's beside himself and makes for the nearest bar - Jake's. Maxie is there and takes sympathy on him and notes that he's jealous of his brotherj. She admits that she was jealous of Georgie, but that Spinelli changed all of that. Matt appreciates her help and comments that Spinelli is a lucky guy.
Alexis is in Big Trouble
Andrea seeks Patrick and Robin out at General Hospital and tells them that she is going to appeal to Brianna's family to drop the suit, since Brianna's death appears to be murder. Later, Patrick approaches Robin, having just found out that Alexis killed Luis Alcazar! Robin, of course, knew that. Patrick now he just learned that Alexis killed a man. Robin is like, duh, I already knew that. We totally forgot about that! Patrick now believes that if Brianna was in her way, Alexis could have killed her. Andrea's listening nearby and grins - it's all going her way.
Alexis tells her daughters that the media insanity should taper off soon. That statement is trashed with the arrival of Diane. Alexis quickly sends the girls out, and Diane shows her the emails Andrea put into her computer, even reading some of them aloud. Alexis is upset - these emails don't even sound like the type of thing that she would write. Diane asks her who has access to the computer, and Alexis answers, only Kristina, who would never do anything like that. The question is, who has reason to frame her?
Later, Alexis receives a call from Mac Scorpio informing her that Jason is under arrest. Alexis says that she will be right there, but Mac says she shouldn't bother. She insists. When she reaches PCPD, Mac gives her the bad news, which should have come from elsewhere: the city council wants her resignation. If they don't get it, she will be fired.
Jason agrees to accompany Spinelli to Jake's, but the PCPD interrupts the date to bring Jason to the station for questioning about two Zacchara organization members found dead in the woods. Jason complies, as if he has a choice, and Diane meets him there with a special request. He heeds to stay in jail for a week so that the beleaguered Alexis can appear to be tough on crime like a normal DA. Jason refuses.
