Jax and Skye

Jax and Skye were married, but on their wedding night, Brenda showed up. Jax delayed his honeymoon with Skye to help Brenda get away from Alcazar. Coming up against Alcazar, Jax was shot and became paralyzed. In his self-pity, he rejected Skye, but she would not leave him. Jax even had Brenda pretend to be in love with him. Skye became suspicious of Brenda and found out that Alcazar lied to her - Brenda wasn't dying of her mother's illness, but he never told her. Skye didn't tell her either. When Jax realized that Skye had known the truth, that Brenda was not ill, and had never revealed that fact, he dropped her for good. He and Brenda reunited.

Alcazar Murdered

Alcazar and Skye crashed Brenda's and Jax's engagement party. Alcazar was thrown off the balcony of his hotel and killed later that night. Brenda was a prime suspect since Skye stepped forward and claimed that she had witnessed the murder.

Jax to the Rescue Again

Eventually Jax and Skye renewed their friendship and he was able to help her from time to time. When Skye and AJ kidnapped Kristina, Skye confessed to Jax what she had done. He offered to get her out of town; at the same time, he helped Skye by getting her a good defense attorney.

Jax came to Skye's rescue again when Tracy informed Skye that she was not a Quartermaine after all. Jax endeavored to get the truth out of Tracy. His flirtation with Tracy resulted in Jax being slapped by Skye - he was having too good a time with Tracy! Jax's last attempt to bale out Skye occurred when he convinced Ned to offer her a job at ELQ. She ruined her opportunity, but she was grateful to him. So grateful, in fact, that she asked him to have a baby with her. Jax refused.
