My Review
This show needs some serious new writing staff with the Head Writer Replaced!! The show constantly changes Character driven storylines then just drops them without finishing them.. Like Kate.. they just started to give her a backstory and some softening of the character and made people fall in love with the Coupling of Sonny and Kate.. Then Bam it's gone and Kate is never seen on the canvas anymore. Fans continue to support and ask for a Kate storyline of "any" kind at this point and are seriously disappointed every day that she remains off the show with no storyline.
Dante is on way to much.. It's like bring a character on and shove them down the viewers throat to make us like them..Well, that doesn't always work. I am afraid the same thing will happen with Brenda. While I like the character of Brenda.. the hype has been wayyy to overdone. It will bomb just like Sarah Joy Brown did when they brought her back.
The show needs to pay more attention to what fans want.. Soaps are dying because the genre is different and going away. Kids don't watch soaps.. it's the veterans that keep them alive. So why don't they listen to us? You can see polls, character fan boards, and fanbases that are strong at revealing what fans want. Listen to what we want and then you can keep the fans you have and get back the ones that have left.
